The "Thousands of Miles of Love" Fund brings Tet (Lunar New Year) to the poor and orphaned children in Tam Hop border commune.
On January 24th, the "Thousands of Miles of Love" Fund, in coordination with the Tam Hop Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard Command, organized the "Spring on the Border - Tet for the Poor and Orphaned Children" program for 2025.

With the desire to bring joy and instill confidence in children so they can study with peace of mind, as well as to help local people develop their economy, the "Thousands of Miles of Love" Fund, in coordination with the Tam Hop Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard Command, organized the donation of 38 gift packages, each containing 1 million VND in cash, a Tet gift box, a pair of banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes), and a carton of milk, to 34 orphaned children and 6 disabled children; 235 gift packages to 235 poor households, each containing 500,000 VND in cash, a Tet gift box, milk, and medicine; 300,000 VND and Tet gifts to 81 near-poor households; and 300,000 VND and a Tet gift to 10 village elders and influential people.

The total value of the Tet gifts is over 600 million VND, and this funding was raised from the support of sponsors, businesses, and generous individuals from across the country. These meaningful gifts demonstrate the spirit of solidarity and mutual support within the community, contributing to making the traditional Tet holiday of the people in the highlands more meaningful, warm, and fulfilling.
On this occasion, the organizing committee also carried out activities such as: Making banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes); providing medical examinations and dispensing medicine to poor households; organizing cultural and artistic exchanges to celebrate the Party and the New Year, creating a warm and cohesive atmosphere for the community...
