'Thousand Miles of Love' Fund brings Tet to the poor and orphans in Tam Hop border commune
On January 24, the "Thousand Miles of Love" Fund coordinated with Tam Hop Border Post, Nghe An Border Guard to organize the program "Border Spring - Tet for the poor and orphans" in 2025.

With the desire to bring joy and confidence to children to study with peace of mind, as well as hope that people will have more conditions to develop the economy, the "Thousand Miles of Love" Fund in coordination with Tam Hop Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard organized the presentation of 38 gifts, each gift includes 1 million VND in cash, 1 Tet gift box, 1 pair of banh chung and 1 carton of milk to 34 orphans and 6 disabled children; presented 235 gifts to 235 poor households, each gift includes 500,000 VND in cash, 1 Tet gift box, milk, medicine; presented 81 near-poor households, each with 300,000 VND and Tet gifts; presented 10 village elders, prestigious people, each with 300,000 VND and 1 Tet gift.

The total value of the Tet gifts is over 600 million VND and this fund is donated by sponsors, businesses and kind-hearted people from all over the country. The meaningful gifts demonstrate the spirit of solidarity, mutual love and mutual assistance of the community, contributing to making the traditional Tet holiday of the highland people more meaningful, and the Tet holiday warmer and more fulfilling.
On this occasion, the organizing committee also carried out activities such as: Making Chung cakes; Medical examination and medicine distribution for poor households; Organizing cultural exchanges to celebrate the Party and the New Year, creating a warm and cohesive atmosphere for the community...
