Celebrating the New Spring, each person is more proud of the country, more confident in the determination of our Party in its role of leading the entire people into a new era.
Without experiencing the pain and humiliation of a hundred years of losing the country; without living a life of slavery, how can one understand the value of independence and freedom? It is not by chance that the Vietnamese people are always proud to admit that "The Party is the Spring of the nation". Although 95 years is not long compared to the thousands of years of building and defending the country of the Vietnamese people, the Spring of the Canh Ngo year 1930 with the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam, is recognized as a brilliant historical milestone: The revolutionary path of our people, from now on, has been led by the Party.
The birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam is the spark, the fire that lights up the truth, stimulates the desire and hope for a change in the fate of tens of millions of people who are suffering from a life of slavery. The Party fulfills its leadership mission for the people, the people trust the Party, wholeheartedly follow the Party, regardless of hardships and sacrifices; fight to eliminate the old, build the new; millions of people as one, rise up like the rising sea, surging waves, sweeping away all obstacles, standing side by side with the Party and Uncle Ho, leading the revolutionary cause to overcome many rapids, steadily moving forward.
From the first spring of independence in the year of Binh Tuat 1946, under the leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, for the first time, the Vietnamese people were able to hold ballots, choose the most worthy representatives to represent their mastery to elect to the National Assembly, gradually perfect the young revolutionary state apparatus, draft the first Constitution, carry out a long-term resistance war to build the nation, and then in the spring of the year of Giap Ngo 1954, launch the Dien Bien Phu Campaign for 56 days and nights of "digging mountains, sleeping in tunnels, eating rice balls in the rain, blood mixed with mud", creating a historic victory "famous in five continents, shaking the earth", ending nearly 100 years of French colonial rule.
After 21 years of resistance war to liberate the South, our people achieved another pinnacle of victory when in the Spring of At Mao 1975, we devoted all our efforts to launching the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign, singing a song of triumph, celebrating the reunification of the country, the North and the South reunited, joining hands to rebuild the country. After many worries, even having to pay the price for mistakes, in the Spring of Dinh Mao 1987, we carried out the national renewal in the spirit of the Resolution of the 6th Party Congress, opening a period of rapid development of the country with consecutive victorious Spring seasons on the journey of weaving prosperity, happiness, evoking dreams and aspirations for Spring songs on the journey of building a strong and rich country.
As if heaven and earth were in accord with people's wishes, the 11th, 12th and 13th National Party Congresses all took place in the first month of the year, in the spring atmosphere of "Party's will - People's heart" blending, bonding, filled with confidence and determination to overcome all difficulties and challenges, bringing Vietnam from a poor, backward country, confidently entering the list of middle-income countries, starting to develop, becoming a nation with a foundation, prestige and position in the international arena.
Along with economic development, the struggle to build and rectify the Party to make it clean and strong continues to achieve many remarkable results. We are not happy when many high-ranking officials are disciplined by the Party and punished by the law, but we are happy because thanks to that, our Party is increasingly cleaner and more prestigious in the eyes of the people, worthy of what President Ho Chi Minh always wished and expected of the ruling Party, as expressed in his Testament.
What could be more joyful than a country that continues to develop steadily? GDP growth in 2024 is estimated at about 7%, exceeding the target set by the National Assembly (6-6.5%). Economic growth for the entire 2021-2025 period is estimated at about 6%/year, among the high-growth countries in the region and the world, with a forecast of about 500 billion USD in 2025, an increase of 1.45 times compared to 2020, ranking 33rd in the world and 4th in the ASEAN region; per capita income will increase from 3,720 USD in 2021 to about 4,900 USD in 2025 (about 31.7%).

Vietnam's current foundation, potential, position and international prestige are convincing evidence to affirm that the path we are taking is correct, consistent with Vietnam's reality and the development trend of the times; affirming that the Party's correct leadership is the leading factor determining the victory of the Vietnamese revolution. Therefore, the Party's Platform continues to be the ideological flag, the fighting flag, the flag that gathers the strength of great national unity to strive for a Vietnam of "rich people, strong country, democracy, equality and civilization".
That reality also affirms the truth that in our country, there is no other political force, except the Communist Party of Vietnam, that has enough courage, intelligence, experience, prestige and ability to lead the country to overcome difficulties and challenges, bringing the revolutionary cause of our people continuously from one victory to another. We are proud to have a truly revolutionary Party - the Communist Party of Vietnam, a ruling party that builds a socialist Vietnamese state on the basis of a solid democracy, which is an inevitable law to build an increasingly powerful Vietnam.
The cold of winter has hidden itself behind the last yellow leaves falling from the tree branches, accumulating energy for the new growing season; the last drops of rain have melted into the thick layer of soil. That is also the time when the warm spring sunshine flows back, urging the spring buds to wake up, people open their hearts to welcome the coming new year.
Welcoming the Spring of At Ty 2025, celebrating our Party's one year older, we are even more proud to look back on the journey of 95 springs with the Party, 95 springs of the Party accompanying the nation, so that each person feels the need to be more responsible, more steadfast on the path that the Party and Uncle Ho have chosen; unite with the Party, build an increasingly clean and strong Party, continue the springs of the aspiration to build a happy and powerful Vietnam, confidently entering the new era.
