Medvedev reveals cost for Europe to rebuild Ukraine
Russia's Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said that Europe will have to pay a high price to bring Ukraine back to normal.

According to RIA Novosti, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that Europe will have to pay a large sum of money to bring Ukraine back to normal in parts, and that Europeans should "thank their leaders".
“US President Donald Trump explained how Kiev will repay the United States – with rare earth metals from Ukraine. And what about Europe? They will pay huge sums to rebuild failing Ukraine. Europeans should thank their leaders for this: European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and others,” Dmitry Medvedev, deputy head of the Russian Security Council, wrote on his social media account.
Previously, on February 3, US President Donald Trump said that Washington expected Ukraine to provide guarantees on the supply of rare earth metals in exchange for financial and military aid from the US.
In response to this resource exploitation idea, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine is ready to cooperate with partners to exploit rare earth resources.
“This is absolutely fair. I talked about it when I met President Trump in September. I know that American businesses are really interested in coming into Ukraine and I want them to develop here,” he added.
The White House boss revealed that he had received news from the Ukrainian government that they were ready to make a deal to allow Washington access to rare earth resources - an important factor for the modern high-tech economy.
