This year, the Van Temple - Cua Rao Festival features several new and attractive activities, rich in cultural identity, promising to create a sacred and meaningful atmosphere.
The Van - Cua Rao Temple is located in Cua Rao 2 village, Xa Luong commune (Tuong Duong district), situated in a sacred location at the confluence of the Nam Non and Nam Mo rivers. Photo: Dinh TuanThis sacred space commemorates the heroic deeds of General Doan Nhu Hai during the Tran Dynasty, who bravely sacrificed himself in the war against the Lao invaders to protect the nation's borders. The Van - Cua Rao Temple also houses the shrine of the Three Holy Mothers – a distinctive symbol of Vietnamese folk religion. The festivities included lively folk games, traditional dances, ethnic costume displays, and sports competitions.
