The Russian delegation has arrived in Saudi Arabia for Russia-US talks.
Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and President Putin's assistant Yuri Ushakov have arrived in Saudi Arabia, where Russia-US talks are taking place.
The government plane landed at Riyadh airport. According to Ushakov, the Russian delegation arrived with a serious attitude.
"Let's wait and see; the most important thing is to begin a genuine normalization of relations between us and Washington," he emphasized.

At the same time, the Presidential Assistant noted that the Russian delegation's visit to Saudi Arabia was solely for bilateral contacts with their American counterparts; trilateral negotiations were not possible.
The meeting is scheduled to take place in the Saudi Arabian capital on Tuesday, February 18th. Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that the Russian side would be represented by Lavrov and Ushakov, who would discuss with their American counterparts the restoration of the full scope of bilateral relations, as well as preparations for a meeting between the leaders of the two countries and possible negotiations to resolve the Ukraine issue.
According to CNN, the US delegation to Riyadh included Secretary of State Marco Rubio, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz to President Donald Trump, and the US leader's special envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff.
