Nghe An province has issued a plan to organize the Lang Sen Festival in 2025.
The People's Committee of Nghe An province has just issued a plan to organize the Lang Sen Festival in 2025 to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).
Accordingly, the 2025 Lotus Village Festival will take place from May 9th to May 19th in Vinh City and Nam Dan District, featuring many rich ceremonial and festive activities.
In addition to traditional rituals such as offering flowers and incense at Ho Chi Minh Square, Kim Lien historical site, and Chung Son temple; and the procession of President Ho Chi Minh's portrait from the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House to Lang Sen Stadium, this year's festival also includes additional activities, especially the inauguration of the "President Ho Chi Minh Visiting His Hometown" statue (held during the festival's opening ceremony on May 9th at Lang Sen Stadium, Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district) and the inauguration of the 9-tiered waterfall at the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan.

Regarding the festival, this year features several notable new elements. The online photo contest "Hello, Homeland of Uncle Ho" will contribute to promoting the image of Nghe An to a wider audience. For the first time, the "Lotus" Tourism Queen contest will be held to honor the beauty of the people and culture of Nghe An.
In addition, traditional activities such as the Lotus Village Festival Sports Competition, the Lotus culinary space, the rural market, and many unique art programs will bring a vibrant and attractive atmosphere to the festival.
In addition, the art program "From Sen Village to Ho Chi Minh City," taking place on the closing night of May 19th at Ho Chi Minh Square, promises to be an impressive highlight, concluding the series of events with moving melodies and images about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh.

The 2025 Lotus Village Festival is not only an occasion to remember and pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, but also an opportunity to promote the image of Nghe An province to friends both domestically and internationally.
