Nghe An issues plan to organize Sen Village Festival in 2025

Accordingly, the 2025 Lotus Village Festival will take place from May 9 to 19 in Vinh city and Nam Dan district, with many rich festival and ceremony activities.

During the ceremony, in addition to traditional rituals such as offering flowers and incense at Ho Chi Minh Square, Kim Lien Relic Site and Chung Son Temple; the procession of Uncle Ho's portrait from the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House to Lang Sen Stadium, this year's festival also has additional activities, especially the inauguration ceremony of the Statue "Uncle Ho Visits His Hometown" (held during the opening ceremony of the festival on May 9 at Lang Sen Stadium, Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District) and the inauguration of the 9-storey waterfall at the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan.

Regarding the festival, this year there are some notable new points. The online photo contest "Hello Uncle's hometown" will contribute to promoting the image of Nghe An to the public. For the first time, the Miss Tourism contest "Sen" is held to honor the beauty of the people and culture of Nghe An.

In addition, traditional activities such as the Lotus Village Festival Sports Competition, Lotus culinary space, rural market, etc., along with many unique art programs will bring a vibrant and attractive atmosphere to the festival.

Along with that, the art program "From Lotus Village to Ho Chi Minh City" taking place on the closing night on the evening of May 19 at Ho Chi Minh Square promises to be an impressive highlight, concluding the series of events with touching melodies and images about the life and career of Uncle Ho.

The 2025 Sen Village Festival is not only an occasion to commemorate and pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh but also an opportunity to promote the image of Nghe An homeland to domestic and international friends.
