In episode 1 of "Mother of the Sea," life in the fishing village unfolds peacefully with the daily activities of the villagers. Conversely, Hue attracts attention with her striking style and behavior, which sparks gossip among the neighbors.
During a conversation, Hai Tho overheard rumors about Hue and her husband. Despite warnings from neighbors to be careful not to lose her husband, Hai Tho remained calm. The situation escalated when Ba Sia, Dai's enemy, made disrespectful remarks to Hue, leading to an argument. Hai Tho had to intervene to stop it, but the conflict between her and her husband remained unresolved.
Ba Sịa's life is also full of tragedy as he cannot forget his painful past, especially the rejection from his family. The dialogue between Ba Sịa and his father shows tension and conflict, reflecting social issues in the lives of the people in the fishing village.
