Solemn Commemoration Ceremony for the Holy Mother Lieu Hanh
On the morning of March 31st (corresponding to the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month), at the Hong Son Temple National Historical Site (Vinh Tan ward), the Vinh City People's Committee organized the commemoration ceremony for the Holy Mother Lieu Hanh.
Attending the ceremony were: Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh An – Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Ms. Tran Thi Kim Phuong – Head of the Provincial Relics Management Board; and Ms. Tran Thi Cam Tu – Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh City.
Also attending were leaders from specialized departments and divisions of Vinh City and the wards and communes in the area, along with a large number of local people and tourists from all over.

According to folk legends, Saint Mother Lieu Hanh is one of the "Four Immortals" and was granted many titles by the Vietnamese feudal dynasties from the Le to the Nguyen periods, honoring her as "Mother of the World," and is worshipped and revered by people throughout the country.

In the areaVinh CityThere are many relics dedicated to the Holy Mother Lieu Hanh, including the Mother Goddess Temple. However, due to time and the vicissitudes of history, these relics have severely deteriorated. With deep affection and strong faith, the people moved the system of statues from the Mother Goddess Temple to the Hong Son Temple for combined worship.
For many years, Hong Son Temple has become a gathering place for people and tourists from all over to offer prayers and incense to worship the Holy Mother Lieu Hanh.

The commemoration ceremony for the Holy Mother Lieu Hanh, held annually on the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month at Hong Son Temple, is a spiritual and cultural activity for the people of Vinh City to honor their national roots, pay homage to the Mother Goddess, and pray for national peace and prosperity, and for all families to be well-fed and happy.
The commemoration of the Holy Mother is a meaningful activity in preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, contributing to building an advanced Vietnamese culture rich in national identity.
