(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 11 (ie the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month), at the National Historical Site of Hong Son Temple, the People's Committee of Vinh City (Nghe An) held the Death Anniversary of Holy Mother Lieu Hanh.
Attending the memorial service were representatives of Vinh city leaders and a number of departments and branches.
According to Vietnamese folk legend, Holy Mother Lieu Hanh is one of the "Four Immortals" and has been awarded many royal decrees by feudal dynasties from the Le to the Nguyen dynasties, honored as "Mother of the world - Mother of all people", and is worshiped and honored by people across the country.

In Vinh city, there are many relics worshiping the Holy Mother, but due to time and many historical ups and downs, the relics were severely damaged. With deep affection and strong faith, the city people moved the entire system of statues of the Mother Temple to Hong Son Temple to unite the worship.

For many years, Hong Son Temple has become a gathering place for people and tourists from all over to come and burn incense and pray to worship the Holy Mother Lieu Hanh.

The annual death anniversary of Holy Mother Lieu Hanh on the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month at Hong Son Temple is a special spiritual and cultural activity of the people of Vinh city, turning to the origin of the nation, turning to the Mother - the "mother of all people" to pray for national peace, people's peace, and for every family to be warm, prosperous and happy.

The death anniversary of the Holy Mother is a meaningful activity in preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, aiming to build an advanced Vietnamese culture with strong national identity.
