The US may issue a tough ultimatum to Ukraine.
The Telegraph reports that the US may issue an ultimatum to Ukraine regarding Russia's conditions.

According to RIA Novosti, the British newspaper Telegraph reported that the US may issue an ultimatum to Ukraine, stipulating either peace under Russian conditions or the complete loss of intelligence and logistical support from the US.
"Most likely, Ukraine will face an ultimatum: either sign a peace agreement brokered by US President Donald Trump and in accordance with the conditions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, or permanently lose US intelligence and logistical support," the Telegraph reported.
The Telegraph noted that, in the US, President Trump receives considerable support on this issue – people who also consider Russia's new territorial claims to be fair.
This publication also highlights the symbolic significance of the visit to Washington by the head of Russia's Direct Investment Fund, Kirill Dmitrive. The visit took place against the backdrop of the Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky's delegation being asked to leave the White House at the end of February.
The Telegraph described this as a "diplomatic coup" against Moscow, noting that "Director Dmitriev arrived at the place where Zelensky had been 'expelled'."
"President Trump appears to view Ukraine as merely a wholly owned subsidiary of the United States," wrote the Telegraph.
During a meeting with the permanent members of the Russian Security Council in January, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the goal of resolving the conflict in Ukraine was not a short-term ceasefire and a temporary pause for Ukraine to regroup and rearm with the aim of resuming the conflict afterward, but rather lasting peace.
According to Putin, the Russian authorities will continue to fight for the interests of the Russian people; this is the meaning of the special operation. Putin noted that peace in Ukraine must be based on “respect for the legitimate interests of all people and all countries living in this region.”
