Sacred voicecall April
These days, the atmosphere in industrial parks and factories in Nghe An province is more bustling than usual. Everywhere is lit up with a sacred red color -red color of the national flag, ignite the desire to build.
Those are rows of factories covered with red flags: on the walls, on the production lines, on the desks, on the desktop screens… even flags are planted on bonsai trees, fluttering on fans. This year, many grassroots unions and businesses have arranged and designed a separate check-in corner in the company.
“We hung national flags along the railings of buildings, along busy corridors, and decorated a corner of the check-in bulletin board with flags, newspapers, and slogans. Handwritten lines such as: “Proud to be Vietnamese”, “I love Vietnam”, “Nghe An forever top”… are simple but “touch” the emotions of workers and laborers. They not only take photos but also share them on social networks… Chinese workers here are also excited to participate,” said Mr. Nguyen Quoc Viet – Union officer of Luxshare ICT Nghe An Co., Ltd.
And it is touching when each worker is like a bright red flag. From the initiative of the grassroots union, workers invest in red flag uniforms with yellow stars, promising to dye their workplaces with national pride. All of this awakens the sacred memory of a heroic time of national defense, bringing the country back together. And in that very memory, today's workers are given more motivation and will to continue the journey of creating new values.
Continuing the spread of the flag-saluting and national anthem singing program in 2024, on April 29, 2025, tens of thousands of workers in Nghe An simultaneously saluted the flag and sang the national anthem right at their workplace. The program is being seriously prepared with the coordination between grassroots unions, businesses, and local authorities and will be maintained throughout May. In 2024, after 1 month of organizing flag-saluting ceremonies for workers at the beginning of the week, many businesses have decided to maintain this ritual as a mandatory regulation with strong response from workers.
From those meaningful programs, the Fatherland is present in factories, brick and tile industries, industrial parks...; in each worker and laborer this April with gratitude and faith in the future of the homeland and country.
Labor spirit in May
If April is the month of sacred emotions, then May - Workers' Month - is the response in action. Behind the brilliant red of the national flag, there is the color of workers' shirts soaked in sweat. After the National Anthem resounds in the factory, there is the relentless rhythm of machines, there are diligent hands diligently creating wealth and material things.
In their homeland Nghe An - the birthplace of many generations of heroes - workers are continuing that journey in the way of peacetime: Creativity in production, discipline in labor, solidarity in movements and humanity in action.
In factories, enterprises, and industrial parks, emulation movements in production, promoting initiatives, and technical improvements have been vigorously launched. In the context of tariff fluctuations, practical initiatives and improvements in each operation have helped businesses firmly overcome difficulties. To honor that spirit of creative labor, this year, the trade union organization in Nghe An has quickly built the program "Creative workers, confidently entering the new era" with the Forum "Creative workers", "Creative Labor Festival 2025" ...
From large industrial parks to small businesses, everywhere is bustling with activities towards Workers' Month. Right in these days, workers, civil servants, and laborers in districts such as Dien Chau, Nghia Dan, Quynh Luu, Anh Son, Nam Dan... have deployed activities towards Workers' Month 2025. These are sports tournaments, skill competitions, exchange programs... both large-scale and practical.
Workers’ Month is also an opportunity for trade unions to demonstrate their role in caring for and protecting the main productive force of society. Gifts, savings books, health check-up programs… continue to be deployed simultaneously by trade unions at all levels, ensuring both scale and quality. Each of these actions – small as they are – contributes to building a big picture: where workers are no longer alone, but are the center of development, the main force in the journey of industrialization and modernization of the homeland.
With a series of creative activities each year, Workers' Month is not only an occasion to look back and show gratitude, but also a starting point for a journey full of hope.
