Latest Aston Villa vs Fulham team information
Aston Villa are without Marcus Rashford – on loan from Manchester United – due to a hamstring injury that will rule him out for the rest of the season.
Axel Disasi could return to the squad after missing the FA Cup on loan from Chelsea. He will compete with Matty Cash for the right-back spot, while Tyrone Mings and Pau Torres will battle it out for a central defensive partnership with Ezri Konsa.
Jacob Ramsey could be recalled to start on the left of midfield, but Emery could also keep the same line-up and rely on John McGinn – who is set to make his 200th Premier League appearance. Ollie Watkins will continue to play centre-forward in place of Rashford, who has 15 goals in the league, including nine at Villa Park.
For Fulham, Rodrigo Muniz (muscle injury) and Reiss Nelson (thigh injury) remain absent, but manager Silva confirmed Antonee Robinson is fit and available after missing the Southampton game.
Robinson could return to left-back, allowing Sessegnon to play on the right wing, but Sessegnon will have to compete with Harry Wilson, Willian and former Aston Villa man Adama Traore for a place.
Midfield duo Smith Rowe and Sasa Lukic are both hoping to return to the starting line-up, while Raul Jimenez will continue to lead the line as he looks to end a six-game Premier League goal drought.

Latest Aston Villa vs Fulham football review
Following a resounding 4-1 win over top-five rivals Newcastle United, Aston Villa have suffered back-to-back defeats – something they haven’t done since early November last year. These results have left them falling behind in the race for Champions League qualification and out of the FA Cup.
Just four days after conceding a 94th-minute winner and losing 2-1 to Manchester City – another top-five contender – in the Premier League, Villa fell 3-0 to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley last weekend.

Unai Emery's side were knocked out of the Champions League at the quarter-final stage and are now looking to bounce back from a difficult period, with their only remaining goal being the final four Premier League games to secure a place in next season's European competition.
Aston Villa are currently seventh in the table, three points behind Nottingham Forest (sixth) and Chelsea (fifth). They face Fulham, Bournemouth, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in their remaining games – Villa picked up just five points from a possible 12 against all four in the first leg.
Villa have grounds for confidence ahead of Saturday's game against Fulham, having won six of their last seven meetings with the opposition and are unbeaten in 16 consecutive Premier League home games (W9 D7) – their second-longest unbeaten run in the competition, behind only a run of 17 games between March and December 2023.
After losing three of their first four Premier League games of April, Fulham looked set to lose again against already-relegated Southampton, trailing 1-0 until the final 20 minutes of last week's game.
However, coach Marco Silva's side made a spectacular comeback with goals from Emile Smith Rowe and Ryan Sessegnon - who scored the decisive goal in the 92nd minute - thereby bringing home three valuable points and a seventh away win of the season.
After the match, coach Silva declared that the team wanted to "rekindle the fighting spirit" to aim for a ticket to the European Cup - something that is still completely possible.
Fulham are currently eighth and can close the gap on seventh-placed Aston Villa to three points with a win on Saturday. They then face Everton, Brentford and Manchester City in their final three games.
However, picking up points at Villa Park will not be easy, as Fulham have won just one of their last 20 Premier League visits to Aston Villa (D7 L12), and have lost their last five since a 2-1 win in April 2014.
