Suspect arrested for insulting traffic police.
When his vehicle was stopped, Bui Duc Hieu verbally abused and insulted the task force, obstructed their work, and slapped Officer Dang Minh Tien in the face.
On May 5th, based on initial investigation documents, the Criminal Investigation Agency of Thai Binh Provincial Police issued an emergency detention order and an arrest warrant for Bui Duc Hieu (born in 1985, residing in Nguyen Xa commune, Vu Thu district) to investigate signs of resisting public officials. These orders were approved by the Vu Thu District People's Procuracy.

Implementing a patrol and control plan to ensure traffic safety and order, at approximately 8:30 PM on May 4th, a task force from the Road Traffic Police Team, under the Traffic Police Department of Thai Binh Provincial Police, carried out its duties in the area of Cheo Bridge, Road 220c, in Vu Thu town, Vu Thu district, Thai Binh province.
During the process of stopping and inspecting a motorcycle with license plate 17L1-1543 driven by Ms. Phung Thi Oanh (born in 1985, residing in Nguyen Xa commune, Vu Thu district), with her husband Bui Duc Hieu riding as a passenger, Hieu verbally abused, insulted, and obstructed the work of the task force.
The suspect slapped Officer Dang Minh Tien in the face. The task force promptly subdued the suspect and handed him over to the Provincial Police Investigation Agency for further investigation and handling.
Currently, the Investigation Agency of the Thai Binh Provincial Police is focusing on investigating and handling the case in accordance with the law.
