Emergency arrest of subject insulting traffic police
When his vehicle was stopped, Bui Duc Hieu cursed, insulted, and obstructed the working group's activities, slapping Dang Minh Tien, an officer of the working group, in the face.
On May 5, based on initial investigation documents, the Investigation Police Agency, Thai Binh Provincial Police issued an emergency detention order and an emergency arrest order for Bui Duc Hieu (born in 1985, residing in Nguyen Xa Commune, Vu Thu District) to investigate signs of resisting law enforcement officers. The above orders were approved by the People's Procuracy of Vu Thu District.
Implementing the patrol and control plan to ensure traffic order and safety, at about 8:30 p.m. on May 4, the working group of the Road Traffic Police Team, under the Traffic Police Department of Thai Binh Provincial Police, performed their duties at the Cheo Bridge area, Road 220c, in Vu Thu town, Vu Thu district, Thai Binh province.
During the process of stopping the vehicle for inspection of the motorbike with license plate 17L1-1543 driven by Ms. Phung Thi Oanh (born in 1985, residing in Nguyen Xa commune, Vu Thu district), carrying her husband Bui Duc Hieu behind, Hieu cursed, insulted, and obstructed the activities of the Working Group.
The subject slapped the face of comrade Dang Minh Tien, an officer of the Working Group. The Working Group promptly restrained the subject and handed him over to the Provincial Police Department for handling.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency, Thai Binh Provincial Police are focusing on investigating and handling the case according to the provisions of law.
