Special art program 'You are the belief in victory' closes Sen Village Festival 2025
On the evening of May 19, at Ho Chi Minh Square (Vinh city, Nghe An), a special art program took place to close the 2025 Lotus Village Festival, concluding a series of unique cultural activities celebrating the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh - the beloved leader of the nation.
Attending the program were representatives of the leaders of Military Region 4, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police; and representatives of leaders of departments, branches and localities in the whole province.
Lotus Village Festivalhas long become a sacred journey back to the roots every May - the moment when millions of Vietnamese hearts turn to their hometown Kim Lien, Nam Dan, the birthplace of President Ho Chi Minh.
This year, the festival took place in a bustling, profound and emotional atmosphere with a series of rich activities such as: Opening ceremony and inauguration of the Statue "Uncle Ho visits his hometown",National Mass Art Performance "Sangha Village Sen", Exhibition "Ho Chi Minh - the most beautiful name", Photo exhibition "ASEAN Country and People", Film week celebrating the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, National wrestling championship, Flag-raising and flag-flying ceremony...
The closing art program with the theme "Ho Chi Minh - He is the belief in victory" organized by the People's Committee of Nghe An province in coordination with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City is the highlight to conclude the series of exciting and meaningful activities of this year's Lotus Village Festival.
With the participation of hundreds of artists and actors from many art units across the country, the program brings elaborately staged performances, smoothly combining music, dance, commentary and modern stage effects.
The immortal songs, emotional scenes and solemn, familiar images of Uncle Ho have aroused in the audience sacred, deep feelings for him, for his homeland and country.
Within the framework of the program, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh presented Certificates of Merit to the collectives of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Public Security and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for their active contributions in organizing and spreading the profound cultural and humanistic values of the festival. This recognition is a testament to the sense of responsibility, effective coordination and heart towards Uncle Ho's homeland of units from the Central to local levels.
