30 mass art troupes participate in the national 'Sen Village Singing Festival' in 2025
On the afternoon of May 16, at the Nghe An Traditional Arts Center (Vinh City), the 2025 National Mass Arts Festival "Sangha of Sen Village" officially opened in a solemn and emotional atmosphere, towards the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).
Attending the opening ceremony were comrade Ninh Thi Thu Huong - Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism); comrades of the Party Executive Committee of Nghe An province: Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; together with representatives of leaders of departments, agencies and a large number of artists, artisans and actors from 30 mass art troupes across the country.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Nghe An, Co-Head of the Organizing Committee of the Festival affirmed: As one of the key activities ofLotus Village Festival 2025, The “Sangha of Lotus Village” performance is not only a unique and emotional artistic event but also a political and cultural activity of sacred significance. This is an opportunity for the people of the whole country to express their respect and deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader of the nation, who devoted his whole life to the cause of independence, freedom and happiness of the people.

Held every 5 years in Uncle Ho's hometown, the Festival is a gathering place for artistic souls and hearts passionate about art from all over the country. Through performances imbued with national identity, the audience will deeply feel the sound of the homeland, love for the Fatherland, and the ideological, moral and stylistic values of Ho Chi Minh spread through each melody and each dance.

This year's festival is also an opportunity for Nghe An to introduce and promote its cultural and historical values, beautiful natural landscapes and the image of the gentle and hospitable people of Nghe An; contributing to promoting tourism development and enhancing cultural exchange between regions across the country.


Immediately after the opening ceremony, art troupes presented special performances, elaborately staged, deeply expressing patriotism, national pride and sacred feelings for beloved Uncle Ho.


The performances will continue until May 18, promising to bring the public warm, profound and inspiring artistic spaces./.
