Nghe An: Thousands of chicken feet, sausages, and frozen nem chua of unknown origin discovered
Truong Vinh Ward Police, Nghe An Province said that the unit has just coordinated with Market Management Team No. 3, Market Management Department to discover and handle a frozen food business in Vinh Tan 1 block, Truong Vinh Ward, storing a large quantity of food of unknown origin.
Previously, on September 21, 2025, the authorities inspected the cold storage of Viet Duc Food Trading Company Limited owned by Mr. Truong Sy D. (born in 1979, residing in Thanh Vinh ward). At the time of inspection, there were more than 3,600 frozen chicken feet, 500 cheese sausages and 500 sour pork rolls in the warehouse. All the goods were packed in sacks and paper bags, without labels, without information about the place of manufacture or expiry date. The owner of the facility could not present invoices or documents proving the origin.
Currently, Truong Vinh Ward Police have confiscated all evidence and completed the file to handle it in accordance with legal regulations.
