The power of unity

Block 16 of Vinh Phu Ward has 260 households, with nearly 1,000 people, the block's Party cell has 118 party members. In the past time, together with the Party Committee, the government, and the people of the block have effectively implemented the policies of the Party and the State and achieved many encouraging results.

Notably, the bloc has mobilized people to actively participate in contributing to the investment in building roads, cultural institutions, solidarity flag lines, and lighting on internal roads, with a total cost of 180 million VND. In 2025, 258/260 households will achieve the title of Cultural Family, reaching 99%.

The bloc mobilizes people to respond to "Green Sunday" to carry out regular environmental sanitation work to ensure the residential area is always clean and beautiful. Internal solidarity and grassroots democracy are strictly implemented within the residential area.

In addition, the bloc always pays attention to the work of promoting education; visiting and encouraging policy families, near-poor households, and households in especially difficult circumstances on holidays and Tet. During the year, the people were mobilized to contribute more than 62 million VND to the Elderly Care Fund; contributed 9 million VND to the Education Promotion Fund; supported the "For the Poor" Fund with an amount of more than 5 million VND, and mobilized to support the Fund for building and repairing houses for poor and near-poor households in the period of 2023 - 2025 with an amount of more than 21 million VND.

In addition, the bloc mobilized people to support poor Chau Binh commune, Quy Chau district (old) with 7 million VND; mobilized to support people in Western Nghe An affected by storms and floods with more than 26 million VND.

Talking with people of block 16, Vinh Phu ward, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Hoang Nghia Hieu praised the achievements of the block in recent times.

The National Great Unity Day is not only an occasion to review the heroic and glorious tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, but also an occasion for Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, and people of all walks of life to meet, gather, share difficulties, exchange good experiences, and effective ways of doing things in socio-economic development, national defense, security, and Party building, building the political system; and to unite the village, neighborhood, comradeship, and compatriotship...

This is also an opportunity to commend and honor typical collectives, cultural families, outstanding individuals, and shining examples in patriotic emulation movements, local campaigns and activities...

Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu informed the cadres and people of Block 16, Vinh Phu Ward about the socio-economic and political development of the province. In particular, 2025 marks an important turning point when the whole country, including Nghe An, will implement the organization of a 2-level local government apparatus. This is a new step, demonstrating the high political determination of the Party and State in innovating the organization of the political system in the direction of streamlining, operating effectively, efficiently, effectively, close to the people, serving the people better and better; creating an important premise for Nghe An to continue to develop rapidly and sustainably in the new period.

2025 is also a year of extremely erratic weather and natural disasters; our province is continuously hit hard by storms No. 3, No. 5 and No. 10, causing great damage to people, property and lives. However, in the midst of hardship, we see more clearly the great strength of the great national unity - a source of strength that has been forged over many generations.

With the spirit of "mutual love and support", "the strong help the weak", all levels, sectors, armed forces, business community, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations together with people inside and outside the province have joined hands, contributed to overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, helped each other overcome difficulties, soon stabilized life, clearly demonstrating the affection, bravery and noble character of the people of Nghe An.

Continuing to inherit and promote the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the spirit of great national unity, the results achieved in the past year, in the coming time, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council expressed his wish that the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of Vinh Phu ward and all the people of block 16 promote patriotic emulation movements, promote people's democracy, each residential area needs to be proactive and creative in building self-governing residential areas; maintain discipline, so that everyone "lives and works according to the Constitution and the law"; promote the movement to help each other develop the economy, protect the living environment, green - clean - beautiful landscape, continue to maintain the title of cultural block.

At the same time, linking the movement's results with the implementation of socio-economic development targets, Party building, ensuring national defense and security along with the criteria for building civilized urban areas of the locality; contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 1st Vinh Phu Ward Party Congress and the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
