Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu attended the Great Unity Festival in Hung Loi 2 hamlet, Lam Thanh commune.

To commemorate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025), on the afternoon of November 12, Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - joined in the National Unity Day celebration at Hung Loi 2 hamlet, Lam Thanh commune.

Joining in the celebration of the National Unity Day were leaders from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council, and members of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Lam Thanh commune.

At the festival, the people of Hung Loi 2 hamlet together reviewed the glorious history and traditions of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and assessed one year of implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".

Hung Loi 2 residential area has 230 households with 776 residents. The people in the area are mainly engaged in agriculture, livestock farming, and crop cultivation; most households have access to clean water and safe electricity; economic, cultural, and social life is increasingly developing, and security and order are ensured and maintained. The average income reaches 45 million VND/person/year.

Over the past year, officials and people of Hung Loi 2 hamlet have demonstrated a strong spirit of solidarity and made concerted efforts to effectively implement the contents of the "National Solidarity Movement for Building New Rural Areas". The villagers have united to participate in economic development, actively helping each other to reduce poverty sustainably, improve their living standards, and encourage legitimate wealth creation.

The hamlet's economy maintained relatively strong growth; the percentage of well-off and wealthy households increased; the number of poor households decreased to only 1, equivalent to less than 0.5%; the cultural sector saw many positive developments; in 2024-2025, the percentage of families achieving the title of "Cultural Family" reached over 95%; the hamlet was recognized as the only Cultural Village in the commune in 2024.

The Fatherland Front and mass organizations have effectively implemented campaigns for the "Gratitude and Repayment" Fund, the "Support for People Affected by Storms and Floods" Fund, and the "For the Poor" Fund. The implementation of grassroots democracy regulations has been maintained in an orderly manner, promoting the people's right to self-governance and consensus.

Speaking at the celebration with officials and people of Hung Loi 2 hamlet, Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - emphasized that the National Unity Day is not only an opportunity to recall the glorious traditions of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, but also a forum to strengthen faith, unite the community, and inspire the will to strive, the spirit of self-reliance and self-improvement of each citizen in the endeavor to build a more prosperous, beautiful, and civilized homeland.

Highly appreciating the achievements of the officials and people of Hung Loi 2 hamlet in the past year, Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu said that in the context of the whole country undergoing a strong transformation, entering a new era - an era of rapid, sustainable development and deep integration - the demands placed on the work of the Fatherland Front and patriotic emulation movements at the grassroots level are becoming higher and more comprehensive.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that Party committees, government agencies, the Fatherland Front, and the people continue to effectively implement the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas," while also focusing on the cause of national unity in the new situation. He also urged further strengthening the core role of the Fatherland Front's working committees in understanding the people's situation.

Continuing to uphold the tradition of "Drinking water, remembering the source," the spirit of "Mutual support and compassion," and "Helping those in need" throughout society. Paying attention to, caring for, and assisting wounded soldiers, families of martyrs, those who have contributed to the revolution, policy beneficiaries, and vulnerable groups.

Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu also suggested that officials and people of Hung Loi 2 hamlet continue to preserve and promote cultural identity, foster solidarity, cultivate humanistic and compassionate values, and make important contributions to the sustainable development of the locality and the province.

Earlier, Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - also visited the Public Administrative Service Center and worked with the People's Committee of Lam Thanh commune.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee encouraged and shared his understanding of the difficulties and obstacles arising in the operation of the two-tiered local government in Lam Thanh commune, while also acknowledging and highly appreciating the proactive efforts of the Party Committee and People's Committee of the commune in performing their professional duties and implementing disaster response and recovery efforts in the recent past.
