On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025), on the afternoon of November 12, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council joined in the National Great Unity Day at Hung Loi 2 hamlet, Lam Thanh commune.
Joining in the celebration of the National Great Unity Day were leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council, and comrades in the Party Committee and People's Committee of Lam Thanh commune.
At the festival, the people of Hung Loi 2 hamlet together reviewed the history and glorious tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and evaluated 1 year of implementing the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".
Hung Loi 2 residential area has 230 households, with 776 people. The people in the area are mainly farmers, raising livestock, growing crops; most households have access to clean water and safe electricity; economic, cultural and social life is increasingly developed, security and order are guaranteed and maintained. Average income reaches 45 million VND/person/year.
Over the past year, the cadres and people of Hung Loi 2 hamlet have promoted the spirit of solidarity and strived to effectively implement the contents of the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas". The villagers have united to participate in economic development, actively helped each other to sustainably reduce poverty, improve their lives, and encourage legitimate enrichment.
The hamlet's economy maintained a good growth rate; the rate of well-off and rich households increased; the number of poor households decreased to 1 household, equivalent to less than 0.5%; The cultural field has many improvements; in 2024-2025, the rate of families achieving the title of Cultural Family reached over 95%; the hamlet was recognized as the only Cultural Village of the commune in 2024.
The Front and organizations have effectively implemented the campaigns for the "Repaying gratitude" Fund, the "Supporting people affected by storms and floods" Fund, and the "For the poor" Fund. The implementation of democracy regulations at the grassroots level has been maintained in order, promoting the people's mastery and consensus.
Speaking with the cadres and people of Hung Loi 2 hamlet, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized that the National Great Unity Day is not only an opportunity to review the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, but also a forum to strengthen trust, unite the community, arouse the will to rise up, the spirit of self-reliance and self-reliance of each citizen in the cause of building an increasingly rich and civilized homeland.
Highly appreciating the results achieved by the cadres and people of Hung Loi 2 hamlet in the past year, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu said that in the context of the whole country changing strongly, entering a new era - an era of rapid, sustainable development and deep integration, the requirements for the work of the Front and patriotic emulation movements at the grassroots level are increasingly higher and more comprehensive.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front and the People to continue to effectively carry out the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", in conjunction with taking care of the cause of great national unity in the new situation. Further promote the core role of the Front Working Committee in grasping the people's situation.
Continue to promote the tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source”, the spirit of “Mutual love and support”, “The whole leaves cover the torn leaves” throughout society. Care for, look after, and help wounded soldiers, families of martyrs, people with meritorious services to the revolution, policy beneficiaries, and the disadvantaged.
