It was this spirit that fostered and created the immortal Nghe Tinh Soviet movement of 1930-1931 in the past, becoming a solid “support” to continue the achievements of today’s innovation and an important endogenous resource to rise up to become a “national growth pole” in the future.
In the flow of Vietnam's revolutionary history, the strength of great solidarity is the "key" to creating all successes. President Ho Chi Minh advised: "There is no power as invincible as the power of people's unity. The country must have the people as its foundation. Only when the roots are strong can the tree last.His greatest concern was the issue of great national unity, unity in all conditions and circumstances of history, while at the same time clearly demonstrating the strategic importance of great unity ideology.“Unity, unity, great unity; Success, success, great success”is a lesson and also a slogan for action of the entire political system, of each organization, association and people of all walks of life.
Following his teachings, national solidarity always holds a particularly important, consistent and pervasive position in the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's policies and laws.
Our Party always affirms: Solidarity is the core value, great national solidarity is the strategic line, the source of strength, the main driving force of the Vietnamese revolution, which has decisive significance for all victories in the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland; promoting the tradition of solidarity is the solid political foundation for the cause of building a prosperous and happy country.
After 995 years of being called Nghe An, the strength of great solidarity is not only affirmed by the heroic and glorious tradition in the past, with historical, revolutionary and cultural relics, but also clearly demonstrated by the results of the joint efforts, unanimity, and strong solidarity of the Party Committee, government and people of all walks of life with specific and convincing numbers in all fields in the past term.
The 2020-2025 term can be seen as a period of difficulties, challenges and tempering the will and mettle of cadres for the people, when we have more than half of the term to carry out the "dual task": both developing the economy and preventing natural disasters, storms, floods, and the Covid-19 pandemic.
It was a term that recorded many creative marks. In difficult times, the strength of the great solidarity bloc was further consolidated and promoted; the more difficult it was, the more we realized the value of the two words "solidarity" and the timely and synchronous participation of the entire political system, which resonated, creating community cohesion and the aspiration to rise up among the people.
A term of "comradely love and brotherly affection" has helped each of us understand human love in times of trouble, with the two words "heart" and "sharing".
A term that witnessed many strong, comprehensive, breakthrough changes and many outstanding bright spots, with most of the targets and goals of the Congress Resolution for the 2020 - 2025 term being achieved and exceeded.
Along with that are outstanding achievements in the campaigns to carry out patriotic emulation movements, the movement "The whole country joins hands to build new countryside and smart cities".
The rate of communes meeting new rural standards in Nghe An reached 75.97.%,higher than the national average; the results of calling for and mobilizing social resources received through the Fatherland Front system at all levels to support the poor reached nearly 5,625.5 billion VND, with more than 875 thousand poor households and households in difficult circumstances receiving support for livelihood models, Lunar New Year gifts, means of production and medical examination and treatment... Through the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind" and 20,802 new houses, ensuring "settling down and making a living" for poor households and households with housing difficulties - Nghe An is one of the leading localities in the country, recognized. The President awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to Nghe An province for its outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary houses and dilapidated houses"...
The above “speaking” figures in the “Song of Solidarity” of the Party Committee, Government and People of the province clearly demonstrate the “Party’s will, people’s heart” and once again affirm: Great solidarity not only brings spiritual resources, but is also an important endogenous resource, creating a sustainable foundation for economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction; connecting, caring for social security work and firmly ensuring national defense and security.
In the new development stage, facing intertwined opportunities and challenges, Nghe An must further promote the strength of solidarity, which is the "key" to turning internal strength into a driving force for rapid and sustainable development. The 20th Provincial Party Congress determined the motto: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", in which "Solidarity" is the top priority, the "compass" of all actions, the strategic vision, affirming that only solidarity can arouse internal strength, create social consensus, and turn the Party's policies into practical actions to serve the people and for the people.
To promote the strength of great solidarity, we must take the people as the center, ensure the right to mastery, care for the life and legitimate interests of each citizen. Cadres must be close to the people, respect the people, "live in the hearts of the masses", "know the masses", thereby "understand the masses", "know the mood of the masses" and "win the absolute trust of the masses" to "speak so that the people listen, make the people believe".
The Fatherland Front and political and social organizations are the "nucleus" that gathers the strength of great solidarity. They must truly innovate their methods of operation with the motto "Strong orientation towards the grassroots - Extensive interaction - Transparent supervision - Constructive criticism"; must become the "common home" of all classes of people, of fraternal ethnic groups, of all beliefs and religions, of a large number of overseas Vietnamese at home and abroad; become a reliable "digital bridge", connecting the solid "flesh and blood" relationship between the Party, the State and the People in the new era of development.
Promoting the strength of great solidarity, arousing the cultural values and people of Nghe An, that is the political task and the burning aspiration of the Party Committee, Government and People of Nghe An, confidently stepping with the whole country into the era of rich, civilized and prosperous development; to realize the goal of becoming "a fairly developed province of the country, a national growth pole by 2030".
That is also the way we pay tribute to the past, realize today's aspirations and create the future for future generations, worthy of being the revolutionary homeland of the great President Ho Chi Minh, practically celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Party's founding (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2030), the 100th anniversary of the Nghe Tinh Soviet (September 12, 1930 - September 12, 2030) and the 1,000th anniversary of the name Nghe An (1030-2030).
