Notice of temporary road closure and traffic diversion for the 2025 Lotus Village Festival

During this time, the authorities will close the barriers, prohibiting all vehicles (except for vehicles of leaders, vehicles of attending delegations; vehicles of forces serving the Opening Ceremony and other priority vehicles according to the law) from entering the roads.

Nghe An Provincial Police requested the Department of Construction to arrange forces and means to coordinate in carrying out the task of road closure and traffic diversion. Provincial departments, branches, sectors, organizations, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities should strengthen the announcement and widely propagate to all people and tourists, especially people in Vinh city, Nam Dan district, Hung Nguyen about the road closure and traffic diversion plan to serve the Lotus Village Festival in 2025 so that people know, proactively arrange their time and work, not be affected by the road closure and traffic diversion plan and voluntarily comply.

In addition, strengthen propaganda on traffic diversion and road closure plans to serve the Festival; propagate and mobilize people living along the roads not to gather to trade, park illegally, encroach on roadsides and sidewalks; and not to release livestock, poultry, and pets onto the roads on May 15, 2025.

According to the announcement, vehicles other than those of the organizing committee, delegates and related parties are not allowed to enter the above area, therefore, traffic participants need to proactively arrange parking before the authorities set up a control barrier.

Residents should leave their phone number on their vehicle so that the authorities can contact them to move their vehicle in case of an emergency. If they cannot contact them within 30 minutes, the authorities will move the vehicle to the nearest police station.
