After the rearrangement of administrative units, Nam Dan district (old) of Nghe An province formed which 5 new communes?
Pursuant to Clauses 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, Article 1 of Resolution 1678/NQ-UBTVQH15 in 2025, there are regulations on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Nghe An province in 2025 as follows:
Article 1. Arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Nghe An province
Pursuant to Project No. 343/DA-CP dated May 9, 2025 of the Government on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Nghe An province in 2025, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly decided to arrange to establish commune-level administrative units of Nghe An province as follows:
37. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of the communes of Hung Tien, Nam Cat, Nam Giang, Xuan Hong and Kim Lien into a new commune called Kim Lien commune.
38. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Nam Dan town, Thuong Tan Loc commune and Xuan Hoa commune into a new commune called Van An commune.
39. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Nghia Thai communes (Nam Dan district), Nam Hung and Nam Thanh into a new commune called Nam Dan commune.
40. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Nam Anh, Nam Linh and Nam Xuan communes into a new commune called Dai Hue commune.
41. Arrange the entire natural area and population size of Khanh Son, Nam Kim and Trung Phuc Cuong communes into a new commune called Thien Nhan commune.
Thus, based on the above regulations, the 6 new communes of Nghe An Province formed from Nam Dan District (old) after the arrangement include:
