Hoang Gia Phat provides livelihoods and empowers disabled people in Nam Dan to overcome difficulties.
Hoang Gia Phat Group, in collaboration with the Nam Dan Self-Reliance Club for People with Disabilities, organized the program "Providing poultry breeds and transferring livestock farming techniques to 22 disabled member households" in Kim Lien commune (Nam Dan district) on October 25th.
At the program, delegates, businesses, and members listened together to the life stories, circumstances, and aspirations of the members of the Nam Dan Self-Reliance Club for People with Disabilities – individuals who constantly strive to assert themselves and overcome the limitations of fate.
For the members, this support goes beyond simply providing material goods; it also means imparting knowledge, creating a foundation for them to confidently take control of their lives – true to the message "Giving livelihoods – Sending trust".
Twenty-two disabled member households received support in the form of poultry breeding stock during this event, along with guidance on a four-step breeding process: selecting breeds, caring for the animals, preventing diseases, and harvesting.
Mr. Hoang Nguyen Trong Dung, General Director of Hoang Gia Phat Investment & Trading Joint Stock Company, shared: “We want to bring to the members of the Nam Dan Self-Reliance Disabled Club not only livestock but also knowledge; so that no matter the circumstances, they can still take control of their lives.”
Representatives of the Nghe An Association for the Protection of Children's Rights and the Support of People with Disabilities, along with local leaders, highly appreciated Hoang Gia Phat's innovative approach in transforming knowledge into accessible tools for vulnerable people; contributing to helping them develop their family economies and integrate into society.
This is reportedly the second time the "Poultry Breeding and Livestock Technology Transfer" program has been organized, following the success of the first phase in mid-2024, when Hoang Gia Phat provided livelihoods for 7 disabled families in Nam Dan.
In the future, this enterprise plans to build a sustainable livelihood model, connecting businesses, government, and the community, continuing to support vulnerable groups; aiming for a confident, independent, and mutually supportive community of people with disabilities.
