Continuously updated plan

From July 1, 2025, localities will continue to update, edit and supplement data on commune boundaries. This process is to ensure the accuracy and completeness of administrative geographic information nationwide. Commune-level maps and other thematic atlases are expected to be released within the next month.

Mr. Le Minh Hai, Chairman and General Director of the Vietnam Publishing House of Natural Resources - Environment and Cartography, affirmed that the maps serving the public's need for basic information updates are guaranteed to be released promptly. This demonstrates the Publishing House's commitment to providing accurate and updated information to the people.

"The documents serving the purpose of merging provinces and cities are already available. However, the revised documents serving the next phase are still being built," said Mr. Le Minh Hai. This shows the scale and complexity of updating data after the merger.

In the coming time, thematic maps serving more in-depth information groups on specific areas will continue to be published. These publications will provide more detailed information for professional and research purposes.
