Singer Duy Mạnh admitted that his advertisement for the dietary supplement Xtramen three years ago was completely wrong, inadvertently assisting in deceiving consumers. He hopes that the authorities will summon him for an explanation and allow him to pay the fine.

On his personal page, singer Duy Mạnh shared that three years ago he advertised for Xtramen. According to the singer, at that time he inquired about the license, and the partner provided everything.

"I followed their advertising script, but it included the phrase 'this is medicine.' I disagreed because medicine requires a license from the Ministry of Health. This is a dietary supplement that only says it supports health. I followed their advertising script. Three years ago, I lacked experience, but since then, I've refused any advertisements related to health products," singer Duy Manh shared.

Singer Duy Mạnh admitted that his advertisement for Xtramen three years ago was "completely wrong and inadvertently helped them deceive consumers." Therefore, he hopes that the legal authorities will summon him for an explanation and allow him to pay the fine.

Duy Mạnh affirmed that what he wrote on his personal page was completely true and not meant as a joke: "I made a mistake and I must accept the consequences. If the authorities summon me for questioning, I am ready, even if it means paying a fine. Consider it a lesson for myself, and also a warning for artists like us."

"When Xtramen was advertised, I took it a few times and saw some effect, but then it stopped. Some friends asked me about it, and I gave them the same answer. Since then, I haven't advertised products like that anymore," Duy Manh said.

The male singer added that recently, a company invited him to advertise eyebrow tattooing and dental work to change his feng shui. Duy Mạnh accepted the offer but didn't follow the script.

"I find that getting cosmetic procedures makes me more confident. When you're confident, everything you do goes smoothly. Getting eyebrow tattoos or dental work done to change your luck doesn't work. But when they share my videos on various platforms, they add their own advertising slogans, and I can't control that," the male singer asserted.

Based on his own experience, the singer advises artists to be extremely careful, even when partners provide permits.

Among the product images that companies invited Duy Manh to advertise was Hiup milk, which was promoted as a height-increasing supplement that recently led to penalties for TV presenter Quang Minh and MC Van Hugo. In addition, the male singer was also invited to advertise nutritional products, toothpaste, and more.
