Singer Duy Manh asked to pay a fine for misleading advertising to users
Singer Duy Manh admitted that advertising the functional food Xtramen 3 years ago was completely wrong, unintentionally helping them deceive consumers, and hopes that law enforcement agencies will invite him to explain and pay a fine.
On his personal page, singer Duy Manh shared that 3 years ago he advertised products for Xtramen. According to the male singer, at that time he asked about the license, and the partner provided it in full.
"I followed their advertising script but it had the phrase 'this is medicine'. I did not agree because medicine must have a license from the Ministry of Health. This is a functional food that only says it supports health. I followed their advertising script. 3 years ago, I had no experience at that time but later on, I refused anything related to advertising health products," singer Duy Manh shared.

Singer Duy Manh admitted that advertising for Xtramen 3 years ago was "completely wrong, unintentionally helping them deceive consumers". Therefore, he hopes that law enforcement agencies will invite him to explain and pay a fine.
Duy Manh affirmed that what he wrote on his personal page was completely true, not meant to be a joke: "I was wrong, I have to accept it. If the authorities invite me to work, I am ready, even if I have to pay a fine. Consider it a lesson for me, and also a warning for artists like us.
When advertising Xtramen, I drank it a few times and saw some effects, but then it didn't. Some friends asked me and I answered the same and from then on I stopped advertising products like this," Duy Manh said.
The male singer added that recently a unit invited him to advertise eyebrow tattooing and teeth whitening to change feng shui. Duy Manh accepted but did not follow the script.
"I find that beauty makes me more confident. When I'm confident, everything I do goes smoothly, but getting eyebrow tattoos or teeth done to change my luck is not going to work. However, when they put my videos on other platforms, they add other advertisements, I can't control it," the male singer affirmed.
From his lesson, the male singer advises artists to be extremely careful, even when partners provide a license.
Among the product images that the units invited Duy Manh to advertise included Hiup milk, which was advertised as helping increase height, causing BTV Quang Minh and MC Van Hugo to be recently punished. In addition, the male singer was also invited to advertise nutritional products, toothpaste, etc.
