The People's Committee of Nghe An province approved the plan for reorganizing the Provincial Inspectorate.

The People's Committee of Nghe An province has assigned the Provincial Inspectorate to take the lead and coordinate with relevant units to implement the contents of the Project in accordance with regulations.

The People's Committee of Nghe An province has just approved it.The plan is to streamline the Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate to be more efficient, effective, and effective.

Accordingly, Nghe An will cease operations of 12 provincial inspectorates and 20 district-level inspectorates to reorganize them into organizations under the Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate. After the reorganization and streamlining, the Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate will have only one entity (the Provincial Inspectorate), reducing the number of entities by 32, achieving a reduction rate of 96.97%.

The organizational structure of the Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate includes the Chief Inspector and no more than 4 Deputy Chief Inspectors, and 8 specialized departments and equivalent units, including: Office; Department of Inspection, Complaint and Denunciation Resolution in Area 1 (Department I); Department of Inspection, Complaint and Denunciation Resolution in Area 2 (Department II); Department of Inspection, Complaint and Denunciation Resolution in Area 3 (Department III); Department of Prevention and Combat of Corruption, Waste, and Negative Practices (Department IV); Department of Monitoring, Supervision, Appraisal and Post-Inspection Handling (Department V); Department of Inspection and Complaint Resolution in the fields of Construction, Finance, and Industry and Trade (Department VI); Department of Inspection and Complaint Resolution in the fields of Education, Health, Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Science and Technology (Department VII); Department of Inspection and Complaint Resolution in the fields of Agriculture and Environment, Internal Affairs, Justice, Ethnic Minorities - Religion, and Foreign Affairs (Department VIII).

The Provincial Inspectorate will have a total of 155 civil servants working in specialized fields after the reorganization (maintaining stability from now until the end of 2030); after the reorganization, when conditions permit, the number of personnel may be adjusted upwards to meet task requirements, but without increasing the total number of personnel in the province as stipulated.

According to the plan on personnel arrangements, the current number of civil servants working at the Provincial Inspectorate will be maintained (after implementing policies and regulations for civil servants and employees in the reorganization of the organizational structure according to Decree 178/2024/ND-CP dated December 31, 2024 and Decree 67/2025/ND-CP dated March 15, 2025 of the Government amending Decree 178/2024/ND-CP).

The remaining civil servants to be recruited from the current inspection staff at departments, agencies, and district-level People's Committees who wish to work at the Provincial Inspectorate should register to request the competent authority to assign them; provided they meet the criteria as prescribed:

They must possess good character and ethics, strong political conviction, professional competence that meets requirements, dedication to their profession, and not be currently under disciplinary review or processing.

Applicants must possess a university degree or higher relevant to the functions and duties of the Provincial Inspectorate; have knowledge of state management and legal understanding; and be in good health to perform their duties.

In the event that, during the selection process for civil servants applying to the Provincial Inspectorate, the number of applicants may fluctuate (below 155 people) due to changes in personal preferences or failure to meet the qualifications, the Provincial Inspectorate may consider and select civil servants who do not directly perform inspection work but have the desire, possess the appropriate professional qualifications and capabilities from agencies and units within the province's political system, ensuring that the allocated staffing quota is met to carry out the tasks.

For civil servants currently holding the positions of Chief Inspector and Deputy Chief Inspector of units who are transferred to the Provincial Inspectorate, the Provincial People's Committee requires: The Chief Inspector of the province shall consider appropriate placement based on specific standards, conditions, and job requirements; and at the same time, arrange and resolve the policies and benefits for those who no longer hold leadership or management positions in accordance with current regulations.

Prior to the reorganization, the Nghe An Inspectorate system consisted of the Provincial Inspectorate (with a total of 49 civil servants, including the Chief Inspector and 3 Deputy Chief Inspectors, and 6 departments and equivalents); 12 Department Inspectorates with 123 civil servants; and 20 District Inspectorates with 97 civil servants.
