Nghe An Provincial People's Committee approved the Project to arrange the Provincial Inspectorate
Nghe An Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Inspectorate to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to implement the contents of the Project to ensure compliance with regulations.
Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just approvedProject to reorganize Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate to be lean, strong, efficient, effective and efficient.

Accordingly, Nghe An will end the operations of 12 Department Inspectorates and 20 District Inspectorates to rearrange and reorganize into organizations under the Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate. After rearrangement and streamlining, the apparatus of the Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate will have only 1 focal point (Provincial Inspectorate), a reduction of 32 focal points, reaching a rate of 96.97%.
The organization of the Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate consists of the Chief Inspector and no more than 4 Deputy Chief Inspectors and 8 specialized, professional and equivalent departments including: Office; Department of Inspection, handling of complaints and denunciations for area 1 (Department I); Department of Inspection, handling of complaints and denunciations for area 2 (Department II); Department of Inspection, handling of complaints and denunciations for area 3 (Department III); Department of Prevention and Combat of Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity (Department IV); Department of Monitoring, Urging, Supervision, Appraisal and Post-Inspection Handling (Department V); Department of Inspection, handling of complaints and denunciations for the fields of Construction, Finance, Industry and Trade (Department VI); Department of Inspection, handling of complaints and denunciations for the fields of Education, Health, Culture, Sports, Tourism, Science and Technology (Department VII); Department of Inspection, handling of complaints and denunciations for the fields of Agriculture and Environment, Internal Affairs, Justice, Ethnicity - Religion, Foreign Affairs (Department VIII).

The total number of staff of the Provincial Inspectorate after the reorganization is 155 civil servants doing professional work (to be maintained stable from now until the end of 2030); after the reorganization, when conditions permit, the number of staff can be adjusted to increase appropriately to meet the requirements of the tasks, but not to increase the total staff of the province according to regulations.
According to the Project on personnel plan, maintaining the number of civil servants currently working at the Provincial Inspectorate (after implementing policies and regimes for civil servants and employees in the implementation of organizational restructuring according to Decree 178/2024/ND-CP dated December 31, 2024 and Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP dated March 15, 2025 of the Government amending Decree 178/2024/ND-CP).
The remaining civil servants supplemented from the source of civil servants working in inspection at departments, branches, and district-level People's Committees currently wishing to register to work at the Provincial Inspectorate to request competent authorities to transfer; meeting the criteria according to regulations:
Have good qualities and ethics, strong political will, professional capacity meeting requirements, dedicated to the profession and not under disciplinary review or handling.
Have a university degree or higher suitable for the functions and tasks of the Provincial Inspectorate; have knowledge of State management and understanding of the law and be healthy enough to perform the duties.
In case, during the process of selecting civil servants to register for the Provincial Inspectorate, the number may fluctuate (less than 155 people) due to individuals changing their wishes or not meeting the standards, the Provincial Inspectorate shall consider and select to accept civil servants who do not directly perform inspection work but have the wishes, have the appropriate professional qualifications and capacity from agencies and units in the political system of the province, ensuring enough number of assigned positions to perform the tasks.
For civil servants holding the positions of Chief Inspector and Deputy Chief Inspector of units when being accepted to the Provincial Inspectorate, the Provincial People's Committee requires: The Provincial Chief Inspector shall base on the specific standards, conditions and task requirements to consider appropriate arrangements; at the same time, arrange and resolve policies for cases where they no longer hold leadership and management positions according to current regulations.
Before the arrangement, the Nghe An Inspectorate system included the Provincial Inspectorate (total staff of 49 civil servants, including the Chief Inspector and 3 Deputy Chief Inspectors and 6 departments and equivalent); at the same time, there were 12 Department Inspectorates with 123 civil servants; 20 District Inspectorates with 97 civil servants.
