A young Thai couple, skilled in business, were simultaneously admitted to the Communist Party.
They are Kha Van Tu (born in 1995) and Luong Thi Kim (born in 1995), a married couple from Mac village, Thach Giam town, Tuong Duong district. On May 14th, the Mac village Party branch held a ceremony to admit both husband and wife into the Party.
In recent years, the youth self-reliance and entrepreneurship movement has been spreading strongly in the highland villages of Tuong Duong, contributing to changing the face of the mountainous rural areas. Among them is the young Thai couple, Kha Van Tu and Luong Thi Kim, from Mac village, Thach Giam town.
Both husband and wife were born and raised in poor farming families. After getting married, Mr. Tú and Ms. Kim shared a common aspiration to rise above poverty and become wealthy.

Accordingly, both husband and wife went abroad for work. After earning some capital, Mr. Tu and Ms. Kim decided to return home to start their own business. They began with raising chickens and ducks, then invested in pig farming. With perseverance in learning techniques, accumulating experience, and hard work, Mr. Tu and Ms. Kim gradually built an effective integrated economic model. Focusing on pig farming, they release 20-30 piglets each time; raise them for 3-4 months before selling them; and sell about 3 batches per year, earning a profit of over 100 million VND.
Besides livestock farming, this young couple also invested in opening a grocery store and a feed shop for livestock and poultry. This business brings them 150 million VND per year. The young couple also invested in a rice milling machine to serve the local community...

"Having been born into a disadvantaged family, I've always deeply understood the hardships and struggles. That's why I've always longed to rise above my circumstances and improve my family's economic situation through my own hard work," shared Ms. Luong Thi Kim.
Not only have they focused on economic development and enriching their family, Mr. Tú and Ms. Kim have also actively participated in local movements and set a good example in building a new cultural life. Thanks to their efforts, dedication, and self-cultivation, Mr. Tú and Ms. Kim have been admitted to the Party. The admission ceremony was held solemnly on May 14th at the Party branch in Mác village, Thạch Giám town. This is a great honor and a testament to their continuous efforts in both production and political development.
When asked why both he and his wife strived to join the Party, Kha Van Tu, with eyes sparkling with faith and pride, said: “The Communist Party of Vietnam is the vanguard force guiding and leading the people through poverty and backwardness. Joining the Party is an honor and a source of pride. My wife and I aspire to become Party members so that we can be trained in ideology, morality, and conduct, and better fulfill our pioneering and exemplary roles in labor and production, working together to build a new, prosperous, and happy life.”
