Young Thai couple are good at business and at the same time were admitted to the Party.

In recent years, the movement of young people starting their own businesses has been spreading strongly in the highland villages of Tuong Duong, contributing to changing the face of the mountainous countryside. Among them is the young Thai couple Kha Van Tu and Luong Thi Kim in Mac village, Thach Giam town.

Both husband and wife were born and raised in poor farming families. After getting married, Tu and Kim together nurtured the aspiration to escape poverty and become rich.

Accordingly, both husband and wife went to work abroad. Having earned some capital, Mr. Tu and Ms. Kim decided to return home to start a business. Starting with the model of raising chickens and geese, then continuing to invest in raising pigs. With perseverance in learning techniques, accumulating experience, combined with diligence and hard work, Mr. Tu and his wife have gradually built an effective comprehensive economic model. Focusing on raising pigs, each batch they release 20-30 breeding pigs; raise them for 3-4 months before selling them; each year they sell about 3 batches, earning over 100 million VND in profit.

In addition to raising livestock, this young couple also invested in opening a grocery store and animal and poultry feed. This business brings them 150 million VND per year. This young couple also invested in a milling machine to serve the people...

“As someone born into a family with difficult circumstances, I have always understood the difficulties and hardships. That is why I always aspire to rise up and develop the family economy with my own hands,” Ms. Luong Thi Kim shared.

Not only stopping at economic development, enriching the family, Mr. Tu and Ms. Kim also actively participated in local movements, exemplary in building a new cultural life. With their efforts, dedication, self-cultivation and training, Mr. Tu and Ms. Kim were admitted to the Party. The admission ceremony was solemnly held on May 14, at the Mac village Party cell, Thach Giam town. This is a great honor and also a testament to the constant efforts in both production labor and training of political qualities.

When asked why both husband and wife strive to be in the Party? With eyes sparkling with faith and pride, Mr. Kha Van Tu said: “The Communist Party of Vietnam is the pioneering force that shows the way and leads the people to overcome poverty and backwardness. Being in the Party is an honor and pride. My wife and I wish to become Party members, to be trained in ideology, ethics, and style and to better promote the pioneering and exemplary role in labor and production, together building a new life of prosperity and happiness.”

Mr. Tu and Ms. Kim are a model of a young family that is constantly striving, an example for highland youth to study and strive.
