Outrage over clip of husband brutally assaulting wife in the middle of the night
A clip taken from a security camera at a family home believed to be in Vinh City is spreading rapidly on social media, recording an outrageous scene: a man repeatedly and brutally beating a woman, believed to be his wife, right in his own home.
The incident happened around midnight on May 7. In the clip, the woman panicked and ran away, even kneeling down to beg, but the man did not stop, but continuously punched, kicked, and then aggressively threatened the victim with a knife.
In desperation to find a way to escape, the woman was forced to jump from the balcony to the ground. According to information, the woman suffered a broken spine, was at risk of spinal cord compression leading to paralysis and had to be hospitalized at Hospital 115.
The last image in the clip shows that after the woman was helped away by two people, the man calmly sat down and lit a cigarette.
Although the cause is still unknown, the clip has sparked a wave of public outrage after being posted. Many people are calling on authorities to promptly investigate and severely punish the brutal behavior of the man in the clip.
