According to RIA Novosti on May 28, State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce said the US is concerned about Russia's latest retaliatory attacks on Ukraine, while Washington officials ignored the large drone attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Russia.

"President Trump and all of us are deeply concerned about the attacks that have resulted in civilian deaths in Ukraine. We call for restraint and urge all parties to avoid further escalation," State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce told reporters at a press conference on May 27 (Washington time).

The Russian Foreign Ministry's Ambassador for Ukraine's crimes - Rodion Miroshnik said on May 27 that as a result of Ukraine's attacks on Russian territories and regions in a week, 9 civilians were killed, 117 people were injured.

Russian President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov stressed that Russia makes the necessary decisions to ensure state security.

According to Mr. Peskov, the US and Europe “do not see” Kiev's efforts to attack Russia's social institutions.

“Unfortunately, neither Europeans nor Americans want to pay close attention to the drone attacks that are being attempted against us, drone attacks on social facilities, on ambulances in the Belgorod region, in the Kursk region. They do not want to see it close. But at the same time, if there is something related to Ukraine, then everyone will blow the trumpet,” Peskov said of attempts to accuse Russia of attacking Ukraine.

The Russian Defense Ministry said on May 27 that the Russian military responded to massive attacks by Ukrainian drones, which attacked military facilities and enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex. At the same time, Ukraine, with the support of European countries, took a number of provocative steps aimed at disrupting the negotiation process.
