The US is concerned about retaliatory Russian attacks on Ukraine.
The U.S. State Department said it is concerned about Russia's latest retaliatory attacks against Ukraine.

According to RIA Novosti on May 28, State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce said that the US is concerned about Russia's latest retaliatory attacks on Ukraine, while Washington officials have ignored large-scale drone attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces against Russia.
"President Donald Trump and all of us are particularly concerned about the attacks that are killing civilians in Ukraine. We call for restraint and urge all parties to avoid further escalation," State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce told reporters at a press briefing on May 27 (Washington time).
Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry's representative on crimes against Ukraine, stated on May 27th that, due to Ukrainian attacks on Russian territories and regions over the past week, nine civilians have been killed and 117 injured.
Russian President Vladimir Putin's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, emphasized that Russia makes the necessary decisions to ensure the security of the state.
According to Peskov, the US and Europe "fail to see" Kyiv's attempts to attack Russian social infrastructure.
"Unfortunately, neither Europeans nor Americans want to pay close attention to the drone attacks that are being carried out against us, drone attacks on social facilities, on ambulances in the Belgorod region, in the Kursk region. They don't want to see it up close. But at the same time, if something related to Ukraine happens, then everyone will simultaneously 'blow the horn'," Peskov said, referring to attempts to accuse Russia of attacking Ukraine.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated on May 27th that Russian forces responded to major drone attacks by Ukraine targeting military facilities and enterprises within Ukraine's military-industrial complex. Simultaneously, Ukraine, with the support of European countries, has taken several provocative steps aimed at disrupting the negotiation process.
