Parents suspected of beating 7th-grade student, resulting in hospitalization.
In Thinh My commune, Hung Nguyen district, a 7th-grade student was allegedly assaulted by the father of a 5th-grade student and had to be hospitalized for treatment.
Two video clips circulating on social media are causing a stir. One clip shows a student with a bloodied face, accompanied by an angry woman accusing a parent of brutally beating her child. The other clip shows that before the incident, the student's mother repeatedly demanded that her child apologize to the man and another student who was with him. Before leaving, the man continued to make threats.
The incident reportedly occurred in Thinh My commune, Hung Nguyen district, at noon on May 27th. According to a report from Hung Thinh Secondary School, Nguyen Van T. (7th grade, class 7C) had an altercation with Dinh Van T. (5th grade, Hung Thinh Primary School) - the son of Mr. Dinh Van Danh. The 7th grade student allegedly punched the 5th grade student in the face before going home.

Later, Mr. Danh went to the 7th-grade student's house, and the student's mother asked her child to apologize to Mr. Danh. T. apologized, and Mr. Danh left. However, at around 2 PM that same day, while T. was taking her younger sibling to school, Mr. Danh stopped and assaulted her, resulting in a nosebleed and requiring hospitalization at Nghe An General Hospital.
Local police are investigating and clarifying the incident.
