Parents suspected of beating 7th grade student to hospital
In Thinh My commune, Hung Nguyen district, a 7th grade student was allegedly assaulted by the father of a 5th grade student and had to be hospitalized for treatment.
Two clips circulating on social media are causing a stir. One clip shows a student with a bloody face, accompanied by a woman’s indignant statement accusing her child of being brutally beaten by his parents. The other clip shows that before the incident, the student’s mother repeatedly asked her child to apologize to the man and another student who was with her. Before leaving, the man continued to make threats.
The incident was determined to have occurred in Thinh My commune, Hung Nguyen district at noon on May 27. According to a report from Hung Thinh Secondary School, Nguyen Van T. (grade 7C) had a fight with Dinh Van T. (grade 5A, Hung Thinh Primary School) - the son of Mr. Dinh Van Danh. The 7th grade student is said to have punched the 5th grade student in the face before going home.

Afterwards, Mr. Danh went to the 7th grader’s house, and the student’s mother asked her to apologize to Mr. Danh. T. apologized and Mr. Danh left. However, at around 2:00 p.m. the same day, when T. was taking her to school, Mr. Danh blocked and beat her, causing her to have a nosebleed and had to be hospitalized at Nghe An General Hospital.
Local police are investigating and clarifying the incident.
