Iran has received a peace offer from the United States.
Following the US announcement of a ceasefire agreement, Iran stated that it had received a peace offer.

According to Reuters on June 24, Iranian officials confirmed Iran's agreement to the US proposal for a ceasefire in the conflict with Israel, via Qatar.
Shortly before that, CNN reported, citing an unnamed senior Iranian official, that the country had not received a ceasefire proposal. Tehran intends to fight until lasting peace is achieved.
"Iran has not received any ceasefire proposal and sees no reason for such a proposal... Iran will continue fighting until a lasting peace is achieved," CNN reported.
The official added that Iran would consider any statements from Israel or the United States as "deception" aimed at justifying attacks against Tehran's interests.
The US Vice President has expressed Washington's desire for direct contact with Tehran rather than speaking through intermediaries.
"The message is always conveyed through some intermediary. This is always true with the Iranians. Of course, we want to talk to them. The US President has made that clear. We want to have a direct conversation in the future," Vance told Fox News.
