At about 1:00 p.m. the same day, Vinh Phu Ward Police arrested Nguyen Van Hiep for theft and seized 120 million VND.

At the police station, Nguyen Van Hiep initially denied his crime; however, faced with evidence and documents from investigators, the subject admitted all his crimes.

Accordingly, due to his love of gambling, Hiep was always in a state of poverty. Taking advantage of Mrs. P.'s family's carelessness, the subject broke in and "stole" 11 taels of gold.
