Nghe An will inaugurate 3 key projects with a total investment of more than 7,300 billion VND to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day.

Nghe An will officially inaugurate three major projects on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The coastal road project from Km7 to Km76, connecting Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) to Cua Lo (Nghe An), is one of the key projects, designed according to the level III delta standards, with a total investment of 4,651 billion VND. The three projects registered by the Provincial People's Committee to be inaugurated to celebrate this important event include: The coastal road from Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) to Cua Lo (Nghe An), from Km7 to Km76 with a total investment of VND4,651 billion; the traffic road connecting Vinh - Cua Lo phase 2 with a total investment of VND1,415.2 billion and Nghe An Oncology Hospital (phase 2) with a total investment of VND1,259 billion.

The total investment of the three projects is up to more than 7,300 billion VND. These are all projects of strategic significance for socio-economic development, improving the province's transport and health infrastructure, and at the same time demonstrating the locality's political determination in realizing the goals of rapid and sustainable development.

The inauguration of these projects is part of a series of activities responding to Official Dispatch No. 57/CD-TTg signed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on May 5, 2025.

The telegram stated that 2025 is a year of many important political events, including the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), which is a particularly important political event, a brilliant milestone in the glorious history of building and defending the country, opening a new era - the era of national independence and socialism in Vietnam. Looking back at history to become stronger, adding to the determination in the cause of building and defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, entering an era of national growth, prosperous development, civilization, and happiness.

On June 9, 2025, Nghe An Oncology Hospital officially transferred all medical examination and treatment activities to a new facility at Km456, National Highway 1A, Nghi Lien Commune, Vinh City, now Vinh Hung Ward, Nghe An Province. The hospital's new facility has a scale of over 1,000 inpatient beds. The operation of the new facility marks an important step in improving the capacity of specialized medical examination and treatment for the North Central region, while contributing to reducing the burden on central hospitals. In order for this event of special significance to take place solemnly and widely, the Government plans to organize groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for major projects nationwide on August 19, 2025, in both in-person and online formats.

The Prime Minister requested relevant units to strive for each ministry, sector, locality, corporation, and general company to have at least two projects or works that meet the conditions to start or inaugurate on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, both demonstrating the spirit of competition and creating new momentum for development.
