The inauguration of these projects is part of a series of activities in response to Directive No. 57/CĐ-TTg signed and issued by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on May 5, 2025.
The official dispatch stated that 2025 is a year of many important political events, including the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). This is a particularly important political event, a glorious milestone in the nation's history of building and defending the country, opening a new era - the era of national independence and socialism in Vietnam. Looking back at history will strengthen our resolve and determination in the cause of building and protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland, entering an era of national progress, development, prosperity, civilization, and happiness.

To ensure this significant event is conducted in a solemn and impactful manner, the Government plans to hold simultaneous groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for major projects nationwide on August 19, 2025, using a hybrid format combining in-person and online participation.
The Prime Minister requested that relevant units strive to ensure that each ministry, sector, locality, corporation, and general company has at least two projects or works that meet the criteria for commencement or inauguration on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, both to demonstrate a vibrant spirit of emulation and to create new momentum for development.
