According to the representative of Tien Dong Commune People's Committee, the Khe Da bridge project aims to replace Khe Da spillway which is often deeply flooded, causing traffic disruption during the rainy season, affecting storm and flood response in Dong Van Commune, Tan Ky District (old); ensure convenient and safe travel for people and students going to school; serve the needs of trade and production, contribute to socio-economic development, and improve the lives of people in the benefiting area. However, due to the slow progress of the project, during storm No. 3 on July 22, Tien Dong Commune had to mobilize forces to be on duty here to ensure the safety of vehicles and passersby. The representative of Tien Dong Commune People's Committee also informed that, from the voters' petition, at the recent 31st session of the Provincial People's Council, the delay in the progress of Tien Dong bridge project was reported and recommended by the commune's leaders so that the competent authorities could pay attention and direct the construction unit to urgently complete it to meet the investment target.
