Ensuring learning conditions for students in flood-affected areas is a requirement that the Provincial People's Committee sets for the Nghe An Education sector as the new school year 2025 - 2026 is approaching.

The Department of Education and Training inspected the flood recovery work at Ta Ca Kindergarten, Binh Son village campus (Muong Xen commune). After the flood, all teaching materials and facilities here were swept away by the flood. This school is also located close to the Nam Mo River, so there is a risk of landslides, potentially unsafe. In the immediate future, the Department requires the school to re-embank sections at risk of landslides and report the damage for early repair and support. Photo: My Ha

In the field of education, the Provincial People's Committee requested localities to proactively coordinate with departments and branches to focus on mobilizing forces to clean schools, repair damaged educational facilities, supplement teaching equipment, learning materials, textbooks, etc. to ensure that educational and training facilities are spacious and clean when the new school year begins.

To carry out these tasks, the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Director of the Department of Education and Training to coordinate with units under the Ministry of Education and Training to direct and guide localities and units to grasp the situation of facilities, teaching equipment, textbooks and learning materials, especially in localities affected by natural disasters such as flash floods, landslides.
