8th grade female student tragically drowned in rice field
While playing with friends on a flooded road in the middle of a field, a female student drowned and could not survive. The victim was Bui Thi KL (13 years old) from Nam Dan commune.
According to local residents, on the morning of August 31, KL went out with his friends and drowned while playing in a flooded road in the middle of a field near the old Nam Thai Commune People's Committee headquarters. Nearly an hour later, people found his body, which had already died.
It is known that L. is the second child in a family of two brothers. The 15-year-old brother is mentally disabled. The parents are divorced, the two brothers are living with their maternal relatives in Hong Minh hamlet, Nam Dan commune. L. is currently studying in class 8F, Hung Thai Nghia Secondary School.
