Eighth-grade girl tragically drowned in a rice field.
While playing with friends on a flooded road in the middle of a field, a female student drowned and did not survive. The victim was Bui Thi KL (13 years old) from Nam Dan commune.
According to local residents, on the morning of August 31st, KL went out to play with friends. While playing in a flooded area between fields near the former headquarters of the Nam Thai Commune People's Committee, she drowned. Nearly an hour later, her body was found, but she had already passed away.
It is known that L. is the second child in a family of two brothers. His 15-year-old brother has intellectual disabilities. Their parents are divorced, and the two brothers are living with their maternal grandparents in Hong Minh hamlet, Nam Dan commune. Currently, L. is studying in class 8F at Hung Thai Nghia Secondary School.
