Domestic coffee prices today, September 26th, are at 113,200 - 114,500 VND/kg, a sharp increase of 3,000 VND/kg. World coffee prices have fallen sharply on both the London and New York exchanges.
Domestic coffee prices today
Domestic coffee prices at 4:00 AM today, September 26, 2025, in the Central Highlands region increased sharply by 2700 to 3000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 113,200 and 114,500 VND/kg. The average coffee price is currently around 111,400 VND/kg. Specifically:
Accordingly, traders in the Lam Dong region are buying coffee at the highest price of 113,200 to 114,500 VND/kg, a sharp increase of 2,700 to 3,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, the price of coffee in Dak Lak province is 114,500 VND/kg, an increase of 3,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province increased by 3000 VND/kg compared to yesterday and are trading at 114,200 VND/kg.
Domestic coffee prices are currently remaining higher than the prices converted from international exchanges. This indicates that recent fluctuations in coffee prices on the London exchange have had less impact on the domestic market. In fact, the price at which export businesses purchase coffee is always higher than the price on the exchange.
A positive trend is emerging: more and more organizations and individuals are investing in the development of specialty coffee. This type of coffee is harvested when ripe, undergoes elaborate processing, and is evaluated by experts, resulting in very high value.
Even those coffee batches that haven't yet achieved the required score to be recognized as specialty coffee have shown a significant improvement in quality compared to regular commercial coffee, and therefore command a better price.
This reality has attracted many international importers to Vietnam to directly purchase specialty coffee at high prices, no longer using the floor price as the sole reference point.
Ahead of the upcoming harvest, experts continue to recommend that farmers harvest only ripe cherries. This method not only improves the quality of the coffee beans but also contributes to increased yields.
World coffee prices today
At the close of trading last night and early this morning, September 26th (Vietnam time), Robusta coffee prices on the London exchange fell sharply by 88-125 USD/ton, a decrease of 2.17%-2.96%; Arabica coffee prices on the New York exchange increased by 0.9-3.6 US cents/pound, a decrease of 0.29%-0.98%.
Specifically, the prices for Robusta coffee under different contract periods are as follows:
The November 2025 contract fell by $125/ton to $4094/ton, equivalent to VND 110,500/kg.
The price for January 2025 delivery fell by $103/ton to $4082/ton.
The March 2025 contract fell by $96/ton, to $4037/ton.
The May 2025 contract fell by $91/ton, to $4000/ton.
Arabica coffee futures for December 2025 delivery rose 3.6 US cents per pound, to 371.35 US cents per pound.
Arabica coffee futures for delivery in March 2026 rose 3.05 US cents per pound, to 351.45 US cents per pound.
Arabica coffee futures for delivery in May 2026 rose 2.35 US cents per pound, to 337.75 US cents per pound.
Arabica coffee futures for July 2026 delivery rose 1.75 US cents per pound, to 324.9 US cents per pound.
