Effective community mobilization at Factory X265
Imbued with President Ho Chi Minh's teaching, "Skillful mass mobilization leads to success in everything," over the past period, Workshop X265, Department of Military Equipment, General Department of Logistics and Technical Services, has always considered mass mobilization work as a central task, closely linked to political, national defense and security tasks and building a strong unit.
Actively monitor the situation and firmly protect local security.
Workshop X265 is stationed in Dong Hieu commune, Nghe An province – an area with complex hilly terrain and a diverse population including Kinh people, ethnic minorities, and Catholic parishioners. This diversity is both a cultural characteristic and poses numerous challenges for mass mobilization work, understanding ideology, and disseminating information to the public.
Given these characteristics, the Party committee and the workshop's leadership always proactively lead and closely supervise mass mobilization work, linking it with the task of protecting internal political security and ensuring absolute safety for the warehouse and the unit. The workshop effectively maintains the operation of mass mobilization teams, security teams, psychological-legal counseling teams, and special propaganda teams to promptly grasp the situation, thoughts, and public opinion and handle emerging issues at the grassroots level.
Workshop X265 also actively coordinates with the Party Committee, local government, and commune police force in developing security plans to prevent and counter subversive plots, sow discord within the national unity, and exploit religious issues to cause unrest. Regular training and coordinated defense plans, along with combat readiness exercises, help the unit and locality maintain the initiative and avoid being caught off guard in any situation.
In particular, through the coordination regulations within the regional security linkage cluster between units under the General Department of Logistics and Technical Services and local authorities, security and order maintenance work is implemented synchronously and closely, leveraging combined strength in maintaining a safe area and a strong unit.
Simultaneously, political education and raising revolutionary awareness and vigilance among officers and soldiers have always been a priority. The workshop seriously implements policies and guidelines on ethnic and religious affairs; creating conditions for ethnic minorities and religious communities to practice their faith in accordance with regulations, live "good lives and beautiful faith," and contribute to building a sustainable security environment from the grassroots level.
Maintaining close ties with the people and consolidating public support are crucial.
Adhering to the motto "listen to the people, speak in a way the people understand, and act in a way the people trust," the civilian outreach work of Workshop X265 always aims to build a genuine and lasting relationship of solidarity between the military and the people. Activities are organized flexibly and effectively, focusing on supporting the lives of the people, especially policy beneficiary families and those in difficult circumstances.
From the beginning of 2025, the unit presented Tet gifts to 43 collectives and individuals with whom it collaborated, totaling 21.5 million VND; donated 7 gift packages worth 3.5 million VND to policy beneficiary families in Nghia Thuan commune; visited and wished longevity to the elderly; and paid tribute to the heroic martyrs through activities such as visiting cemeteries and historical sites in the area.
The workshop also actively participates in and contributes to social funds such as: "Gratitude and Repayment" (63.9 million VND), "Child Protection" (4.9 million VND), and support for the Cuban people (35.6 million VND); along with supporting the Association of the Elderly, the Association of Victims of Agent Orange, and the "Warm Spring of Human Kindness" program with a total budget of nearly 7 million VND.
On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs, the workshop organized a ceremony to offer incense, visit the cemetery, and present gifts of gratitude to policy beneficiary families and relatives of martyrs inside and outside the unit (3.5 million VND). At the same time, the workshop donated 4 bicycles worth 5.3 million VND to underprivileged students and congratulated schools on the opening of the new school year 2025-2026 with gifts worth 6 million VND.
These activities not only have material value but also profoundly demonstrate the political responsibility, sharing spirit, and close bond of the officers and soldiers of Workshop X265 with the people. Through this, they contribute to fostering trust and strengthening the people's support – a solid foundation for the stability of the area and the sustainable development of the unit.
Colonel Le Duy Anh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Workshop X265, affirmed: "People relations work is not only a key task but also an art of building and maintaining strong relationships between the unit and the people. We always consider building a strong foundation of people's support as an important basis for maintaining political security, ensuring the safety of warehouses, and successfully completing all tasks."
In the coming period, the workshop will continue to innovate the content and methods of mass mobilization activities in a practical, creative, and relevant manner to the local reality; promote the role of mass organizations and mass mobilization task forces; and strengthen coordination with local Party committees, authorities, and mass organizations. Through this, it will contribute to consolidating the national defense posture, building a solid defense zone, ensuring absolute safety for the unit, and successfully completing all assigned tasks.”
