Skilled mass mobilization at Factory X265
Imbued with the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh "If you are good at mass mobilization, everything will be successful", in recent times, Factory X265, Department of Armaments, General Department of Logistics and Technology has always identified mass mobilization as a key task, closely linked with political tasks, national defense - security and building a strong unit.
Proactively grasp the situation and firmly protect local security.
Factory X265 is stationed in Dong Hieu commune, Nghe An province - an area with complex mountainous terrain, diverse population with Kinh people, ethnic minorities and Catholics. This diversity is both a cultural characteristic and poses many challenges for mass mobilization work, grasping ideology and propagandizing and mobilizing the masses.
Faced with that characteristic, the workshop's Party Committee and commanders always proactively lead and closely direct the mass mobilization work, closely linked to the task of protecting internal political security and ensuring absolute safety for the warehouse and unit. The workshop maintains the effective operation of mass mobilization teams, security teams, psychological-legal consulting teams and special propaganda teams to promptly grasp the situation, ideology, public opinion and handle arising problems right at the grassroots level.
Workshop X265 also actively cooperates with the Party Committee, the government and the communal police force in developing security protection plans, preventing and combating sabotage plots, dividing national unity, and taking advantage of religious issues to cause trouble. Training plans, defense coordination, and combat readiness are organized regularly, helping units and localities maintain an active position, avoiding passivity and surprise in all situations.
In particular, through the coordination regulations in the regional security cluster between units under the General Department of Logistics and Engineering and local authorities, the work of ensuring security and order is deployed synchronously and closely, promoting the combined strength in maintaining a safe area and a strong unit.
At the same time, political education, raising awareness and revolutionary vigilance for cadres and soldiers are always given attention. The workshop seriously implements policies on ethnic and religious affairs; creates conditions for ethnic minorities and religious people to practice their beliefs in accordance with regulations, live a "good life, good religion", contributing to building a sustainable security environment from the grassroots.
Closely connected with the people, consolidating the people's hearts and minds
Adhering to the motto of “listening to people, speaking so that people understand, doing so that people believe”, the mass mobilization work of Workshop X265 always aims to build a solid and lasting military-civilian solidarity relationship. Activities are organized flexibly and effectively, aiming to support people’s lives, especially families with meritorious services and people in difficult circumstances.
Since the beginning of 2025, the unit has presented Tet gifts to 43 cooperative groups and individuals, with a total cost of 21.5 million VND; presented 7 gifts worth 3.5 million VND to policy families in Nghia Thuan commune; visited and wished longevity to the elderly; paid tribute to heroic martyrs by visiting cemeteries and historical sites in the area.
The workshop also actively participates in and contributes to social funds such as: "Repaying gratitude" (63.9 million VND), "Child sponsorship" (4.9 million VND), supporting the Cuban people (35.6 million VND); along with supporting the Association of the Elderly, the Association of Agent Orange Victims and the "Spring of Warmth" Program with a total budget of nearly 7 million VND.
On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the workshop organized incense offering, visited the cemetery and presented gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and relatives of martyrs inside and outside the unit (VND 3.5 million). At the same time, the workshop donated 4 bicycles worth VND 5.3 million to poor students who have overcome difficulties and congratulated schools on the occasion of the opening of the new school year 2025-2026 worth VND 6 million.
These activities not only have material value but also deeply demonstrate the sense of political responsibility, sharing and attachment of officers and soldiers of Workshop X265 to the people. Thereby, contributing to fostering trust and consolidating the people's hearts - a solid foundation for the stability of the area and the sustainable development of the unit.
Colonel Le Duy Anh - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Workshop X265 affirmed: “Mass mobilization work is not only a core task but also the art of building and maintaining a strong relationship between the unit and the people. We always identify building a people's heart position as an important foundation to maintain political security, ensure warehouse safety and complete all tasks well.
In the coming time, the workshop will continue to innovate the content and methods of mass mobilization activities in a practical, creative direction, close to the local reality; promote the role of mass organizations, mass mobilization working groups, and strengthen coordination with local Party committees, authorities, and organizations. Thereby, contributing to consolidating the national defense posture, building a solid defense area, ensuring absolute safety of the unit and excellently completing all assigned tasks."
