According to TASS on October 14, the Hamas movement congratulated the Palestinians released from Israeli prisons on October 13.

"The prisoner exchange operation is a historic achievement," a statement from the armed movement Hamas, posted on social media platform X, said. "We consider this a significant step on the path to the liberation of all Palestinian territories and Palestinian-inhabited areas."

The document notes that conflict and famine cannot hinder the resilience of the Palestinians – who "in every way express joy at the achievement of the goal, including the release of hostages."

Hamas emphasized that "the resistance forces treated the Israeli prisoners in a civilized manner in accordance with Islamic values."

Meanwhile, speaking at the end of the peace summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, where a ceasefire agreement in the Palestinian territories was signed, US President Donald Trump said that "all the prerequisites for lasting peace" are in place in the Middle East.

According to President Trump, committing to the 20-point plan will be the necessary foundation for achieving this bright future.

"This work is underway right now. We are in the third and fourth phases of the agreement," the American leader said.

On October 13, Hamas and its supporting Palestinian groups released all the hostages. Twenty people were handed over to the Israeli army through mediation by the International Red Cross Committee and are now in Israeli territory.
