Minh Chau village (Tri Le commune) has 134 households and 668 inhabitants belonging to two ethnic groups, Khmu and Thai; the Party branch has 22 members. According to the Secretary of the Minh Chau village Party branch, Comrade Loc Van Thu, the branch has long maintained a regular monthly meeting on the 3rd, usually in the morning, or in the evening during the harvest season to ensure full participation of all Party members.

Beyond simply holding meetings on time, the Minh Chau village Party branch also focuses on innovating the content and methods of its activities to better reflect reality.
Instead of simply listening to reports and disseminating directives, current party branch meetings focus on discussing specific, practical issues directly related to people's lives. These range from livestock farming and crop cultivation to irrigation canals, disease prevention and control, mitigating the effects of storms and floods, building a cultured lifestyle, eradicating outdated customs, and ensuring security and order in residential areas.

"Before organizing the meeting, the Minh Chau Party Committee spends time studying relevant documents, determining the topic, and seeking guidance from higher levels on anything unclear."
Furthermore, "clearly guided by Directive No. 50, we focus on promoting the spirit of self-criticism and criticism, encouraging Party members to boldly offer suggestions, participate in discussions, and contribute ideas. As a result, many issues at the grassroots level have been discussed and resolved promptly. In addition, to implement digital transformation in the activities of the Party branch, the Minh Chau Party branch committee has established Zalo and Facebook groups to serve the work of management, exchange, updating, and grasping information. The two comrades, the Party branch secretary and the village head, even used their own funds to buy laptops for their work," shared Party branch secretary Loc Van Thu.

Meanwhile, in Na Cay village, Tien Phong commune, Party Branch Secretary Lu Van Quy said: The Party Branch has a relatively large number of members (58 comrades). Recognizing that the quality of meetings is one of the important factors determining the capacity and fighting strength of the Party Branch, the branch closely follows the directives of higher levels and maintains meetings according to the prescribed schedule.
The meeting agenda was well-prepared, and party members participated fully and on time. The issues discussed were relevant to the realities of the villages, and the opinions expressed reflected the aspirations of the people, minimizing formal and perfunctory speeches.
The role and responsibilities of the meeting chair are also more clearly defined through the method of conducting meetings, raising issues, and creating a democratic and sincere atmosphere. Each meeting evaluates and draws lessons from what has been accomplished and what has not; sets specific tasks and things that need to be done immediately within the month, and clearly assigns responsibilities to each party member.

Mr. Ha Sy Bay, 71 years old and a Party member for 45 years, residing in Team 1 of Na Cay village, expressed: "The Party Central Committee's Directive 50, which unifies meetings on the 3rd of each month, helps ensure uniformity, facilitates inspection and supervision work, and enhances the sense of responsibility of Party branch committees in preparing meeting content."
Compared to the past, the activities of village Party branches have undergone innovations, becoming more relevant to the situation in the villages. We Party members hope that Party branch activities will both adhere to the regulations of the Central Committee and the province, and be closely aligned with the reality of the villages, with the ultimate goal of ensuring a prosperous life for the people and the development of the villages.

Ms. Lang Phuong Thao, Head of the Party Building Committee of Tien Phong Commune, said: "Imbued with President Ho Chi Minh's teaching, 'A strong Party is due to good Party branches,' immediately after the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee implemented Plan No. 363-KH/TU dated August 18, 2025, on implementing Directive No. 50-CT/TW of the Party Central Committee on continuing to innovate and improve the quality of Party branch activities in the new period, the Tien Phong Commune Party Committee promptly issued guiding documents, requiring subordinate Party branches to continue innovating the content and methods of Party branch activities to ensure three correct aspects: correct schedule, correct content, and correct principles. The methods of conducting Party branch activities should be reformed to be concise, focused, and prioritized; emphasizing discipline, order, and self-awareness in Party activities; and linking Party branch activities with the political tasks of the agency or unit."
The commune Party Committee also assigns Party committee members to regularly attend meetings at the Party branches, promptly grasping the thoughts and aspirations of cadres, Party members, and the people. Along with this, it strengthens inspection and supervision to ensure order and improve the quality of Party branch meetings.
The initial results show that Party branch activities have become more orderly, leadership, educational, and fighting spirit have been enhanced, and the pioneering and exemplary roles of cadres and Party members have been promoted.
In Van Kieu commune, the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee has regularly held meetings with the subordinate Party branches. Through these meetings, they have grasped the actual situation, listened to feedback from the grassroots, resolved difficulties and obstacles, and guided the content of Party branch meetings to ensure "three correct" principles as outlined in Directive No. 50-CT/ of the Party Central Committee.
In addition to regular meetings, the Party branches under the Van Kieu Commune Party Committee also focus on thematic meetings with specific and practical content, linked to evaluating the results of tasks performed during the month and planning tasks for the coming month.

According to Comrade Chu Ba Long, Secretary of the Party Committee of Van Kieu Commune: Party branch meetings must not only ensure order and discipline but also be substantive, closely linked to the lives of the people and the development tasks of the locality. Through this, the political core role of the Party organization at the grassroots level is effectively promoted, the people's trust is strengthened, and momentum is created to successfully achieve socio-economic development goals in the area.

Directive No. 50-CT/TW is not only a continuation of the spirit of previous directives but also a breakthrough, setting higher, more thorough, and more substantive requirements for Party branch activities. It is a "political mandate" for each Party committee, Party organization, and Party member in the new situation. Therefore, immediately after the Central Party Secretariat issued Directive No. 50-CT/TW on July 23, 2025, on continuing to innovate and improve the quality of Party branch activities in the new period, the Provincial Party Standing Committee issued Plan No. 636-KH/TU on August 18, 2025, to implement Directive No. 50-CT/TW.
This includes requiring Party organizations to implement the directives synchronously, with a focus on the specific conditions of each type of Party branch. It stipulates that Party branch meetings for all members should be held on the 3rd of each month (if it falls on a holiday or in special cases, the meeting should be held during the first week of the month). At the same time, it emphasizes ensuring practicality and effectiveness, avoiding formality and bureaucratization in Party branch meetings.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee also directed the organization of a conference for key officials throughout the province to study and thoroughly understand Directive No. 50-CT/TW, using a combination of in-person and online formats; and directed the strengthening of propaganda work on the Directive through mass media, internal information, thematic discussions, etc.
At the same time, Party committees at all levels are required to proactively review, adjust, and supplement the content of Directive No. 50-CT/TW into the working regulations and related documents of Party committees at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, in accordance with the requirements of the new period, focusing on the following key areas: Enhancing awareness of the position and role of Party branches and Party branch activities; Innovating the content and methods of organizing Party branch activities in a practical and effective manner; Strengthening the responsibility of Party committees and Party branch secretaries in leading and managing activities; Strengthening inspection, supervision, and evaluation of the quality of Party branch activities; Tightening discipline and principles in Party branch activities; Emphasizing the role of exemplary conduct and responsibility of Party members; Ensuring the conditions for organizing Party branch activities...
As the Party Committee under the provincial leadership, on September 18, 2025, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Party Agencies held a combined in-person and online conference to implement the Resolution of the First Congress of the Provincial Party Committee of Party Agencies and Directive 50 to grassroots Party organizations and all Party members of the Party Committee at 36 locations with over 1,300 Party members.

Previously, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies also issued Plan No. 25-KH/DU, dated September 8, 2025, with the following key contents: Reviewing and supplementing working regulations, incorporating the content of Directive 50-CT/TW into the program, resolutions, and regulations of Party branches to concretize policies into actions; Innovating the content and methods of Party branch meetings, ensuring "three correct" (correct schedule, correct content, correct principles); closely combining theory and practice; promoting democracy and enhancing combativeness; Enhancing the role of Party committees and Party branch secretaries, effectively carrying out the work of consolidating, planning, training, and fostering the team of Party branch secretaries and Party committee members; Continuing to effectively implement the regulations of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on evaluating the quality of Party branch meetings; building models of "four-good Party branches" and "four-good grassroots Party committees".
Strictly implement the assignment of Party committee members and cadres to monitor grassroots units and regularly attend Party branch meetings; link the evaluation of meeting quality with the ranking of Party branches and Party members; and at the same time, promptly commend and replicate advanced models.

Most recently, on October 6, 2025, the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies issued Notice No. 44-TB/DU regarding the schedule for assigning members of the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of the Party Agencies to attend regular branch meetings in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Through attending Party branch meetings, we can understand the situation, listen to the opinions of Party members and the branch, and promptly guide and direct efforts to improve the quality and overcome formalism in Party branch meetings; at the same time, we can identify good practices from reality to replicate.
Each Party branch needs to clearly understand that innovating and improving the quality of Party branch activities is not a short-term task, but a regular, long-term undertaking closely linked to the survival of the Party. Directive 50-CT/TW is a call to action full of responsibility and expectation from the Party Central Committee to each Party organization, each cadre, and each Party member. For this call to action to deeply permeate practice, the most important thing is the exemplary, decisive, and consistent performance of words from the leaders, the Party branch secretaries, and the "extended arms" of the Party at the grassroots level.

Party branches are the cells and foundation of the Party, the political nucleus at the grassroots level, directly leading and concretizing the Party's policies and guidelines into life. Improving the quality of Party branch activities is an urgent requirement and has special significance in contributing to building a clean, strong, and comprehensive Party; we believe that, with high political determination, the close leadership of Party committees at all levels, and the spirit and responsibility of cadres and Party members, Directive No. 50-CT/TW will be implemented synchronously and effectively throughout the province, meeting the requirements of the new period.
